1 Introduction
1.1 What is Postal Repair
Due to distance and time reasons, it is inconvenient for some users to go to a service center in person. Therefore, Huawei provides postal repair in the United Kingdom for Huawei and Honor products (excluding smart TVs, vehicle-mounted products, and inbox accessories) purchased through Huawei-authorized channels. By postal repair, users can send their products for repair by mail and do not need to pay for the delivery.
1.2 How Long Will Postal Repair Take
Postal repair process consists of logistics and repair. In common cases, the whole process takes10 working days, including 3-5 days for round-trip transportation, and 5-7 days for repair. The duration may be prolonged in special cases, such as holidays, delivery delay due to bad weather, failure to reach the user and more.

Is the delivery safe? |
To secure your product, it is suggested that you put your product into the original box and package it properly before delivery. The unpack process at the postal repair center will be monitored. If there is any delivery-caused damage, Huawei will help you to communicate with the delivery service provider to solve the problem. After the repair is completed, Huawei will send the product back to you safely. |
2 Availability
2.1 Time and Dates of Postal Repair
- Request submittal hours: 7*24h, Monday-Sunday
- Pickup time: The deliveryman will communicate with the customer about the pickup time within 24 hours. If the request was submitted during non-working hours of the logistcis partner, the deliveryman will contact the customer once he/she starts work.

3 Limitations and Conditions
3.1 Number-of-times Limit of Postal Repair
There is no number-of-times limit for postal repair.
3.2 Conditions of Postal Repair
- E-warranty card or other types of valid POP(proof of purchase) is required.
- Through postal reapir, only product detection, repair and maintenance service are available. Return or replacement service is not available.
- Postal repair is available to all faults within and out of the warranty coverage.
3.3 Determine the Warranty Validity
For the situation that the product was within warranty period when applying for in-warranty repair or maintenance through postal repair, but out of the period when received by the service center, the warranty validity should be determined in accrodance with the following standards:
- If the you submit the application through Huawei official channels, including My HUAWEI/Support App, official website and hotline, warranty validity will be determined based on the application date.
- If you choose self-mailing for postal repair, warranty validity will be determined based on the mailing date.
4 Charges and Invoice
4.1 Charges of Postal Repair
The service charge is composed of spare part price, labour fee and VAT. Please refer to the following table for details:

5 Instructions
5.1 Checking the product SN
When submitting for postal repair, if you are not applying for your own device, you need to check and record the SN number of the product in advance.
