Adjusting the DPI of a HUAWEI mouse |
For details about how to adjust the mouse sensitivity in Windows settings, see Configure settings for mouse. The following describes how to adjust the mouse sensitivity by adjusting the DPI.
The DPI of a mouse refers to the positioning accuracy of the mouse, that is, the maximum amount of information that can be accurately located each time the mouse moves one inch. Generally, the higher the DPI value of a mouse, the higher the sensitivity of the mouse pointer movement.
Check the mouse model
- Check the mouse model on the label on the packaging box of the mouse.
- Check the mouse model on the label on the mouse body. The label is usually located in the battery compartment or receiver compartment. For details about how to check the S/N, see Viewing the S/N of my HUAWEI mouse.
Check whether your mouse model supports DPI adjustment and find operation guides in the corresponding link

Using Huawei PC Manager
Prerequisites:
- Download and install the latest version of Huawei PC Manager on your computer. (If the HUAWEI Accessories Centre screen is not displayed after the update, try another adjustment method.)
- Pair the mouse with the device through proximity pairing or using a receiver.
Procedure:
- Open Huawei PC Manager, click My devices, and select the connected mouse.
- On the Huawei Accessories Centre screen, click a DPI level to switch to it. (The image is for reference only.)
Using the custom button
The custom button of the mouse is located in the middle (under the scroll wheel). By default, it controls DPI adjustment. You can adjust the DPI value by pressing the custom button: a press on this button switches the current DPI level to another.
- After the mouse is connected to a device, open Huawei PC Manager, go to My devices, click the mouse card, and click Shortcuts.
- Other computers: Open the ScreenHop client (Open the HUAWEI Support official website, click the drop-down arrow to switch to the Huawei wireless mouse (WYN). You can download and install the latest version of ScreenHop client under Software Download.) Click the connected mouse to access its card.
- Set Shortcuts to DPI.
