The cycling data on my HUAWEI S-TAG is inaccurate or there is no cycling data |
If the issue occurs, perform the following actions:
Set the bicycle wheel size correctly
Before cycling, set the bicycle wheel size in the Huawei Health app, or on your watch, so that cycling data can be correctly monitored:
- In the Huawei Health app on your phone, go to Devices > Wheel size > Wheel size.
- On your watch, go to Settings > Bluetooth, select the connected HUAWEI S-TAG device, and select Wheel size.
If you cannot find a suitable wheel size option for your bicycle (such as a mountain bike), you can choose to customise the wheel size.
Wear your HUAWEI S-TAG devices in the correct positions
- Spoke clip: It's recommended that you manually fasten the device clip to a spoke, as shown in the following figure. If you are using a tool, avoid using excessive force.
The spoke clip is only suitable for bicycles with spokes whose diameter ranges from 1.8 mm to 3.2 mm. The spoke clip cannot be used on spokes whose diameter exceeds the range, or on spokes which are irregularly shaped.
- Foot device: Press the small buttons on both sides of the foot clip to open the clip, then put the clip base through your shoelaces, and close the clip as shown in the figure below. Make sure that you have heard the clip click when you close it.
- You can wear the device on whichever foot you'd prefer. The device will recognise your wearing foot and adjust to measure your cycling data accordingly.
- Not wearing the foot device on some occasions may result in the loss of some cycling data.
Ensure that your HUAWEI S-TAG is connected to the Huawei Health app during your workout
If you are using the Huawei Health app to connect to your device for a workout, it is recommended that you add the Huawei Health app to the list of background protection apps on your phone, and keep the device connected to the Huawei Health app during the workout.
