Restoring the data synced to Cloud

If you synced the data to Cloud by toggling on the syncing switches for Gallery, Contacts, Notes, Calendar, and WLAN, go to Settings > Log in to HUAWEI ID > Cloud and toggle on the syncing switches for these apps. The data on Cloud will automatically be restored to your phone.

Restoring the Cloud Backup data

If you backed up your data to Cloud using Cloud Backup, go to Cloud > Cloud Backup > Restore data, and touch Restore.

 
  1. Cloud backup can only be done over Wi-Fi.
  2. If you are using an earlier version of Gallery than 10.1.1.311, and an earlier version of Cloud than 10.6.0.303, your Gallery data can only be synced over Wi-Fi. To check which version of Gallery you are using, open Settings, search for and access Apps, type Gallery into the search box and access Gallery.
  3. Cloud backup data restoration uses incremental restoration, except for app data restoration. This means that only the restored app data will overwrite existing data. There will be a message reminding you that once restored, the overwritten data can't be recovered.
