Locking and unlocking the watch screen

Touch gestures will not work when your watch screen is locked. This feature is useful for preventing unintended operations in scenarios such as when you are swimming and water touches the screen.
Locking the screen
Swipe down on the watch home screen and touch Lock screen.
HUAWEI WATCH Series models support shortcut menu editing. If the Lock screen feature is not displayed in the shortcut menu, touch Edit to add Lock screen to the shortcut menu.
Unlocking the screen
- Rotate the watch crown to unlock the screen.
- Press and hold the Down button to unlock the screen. (This feature is supported only on some watch models.)
