Always On Display

With Always On Display enabled, the lock screen is able to show the date, time, and more when the screen is off. You can customise the display style for Always On Display to suit your needs.

Enable Always On Display

  1. Go to Settings > Home screen & style > Always On Display, touch in the upper right corner, and enable Always On Display.

  2. Follow the onscreen instructions to set Display mode.

Set Full-screen AOD

You can set the lock screen wallpaper of your device as an AOD that stunningly takes up the entire screen for a better screen-off effect.

  1. On the Always On Display screen, select a style under Full screen.

  2. Enable or disable Show notifications and battery as needed.

  3. Touch Apply.

Full-screen AOD will change with the lock screen wallpaper.

Select a GIF Image or Moving Picture

You can select a local image (such as a GIF image or moving picture) for Always On Display to make your display stand out.

  1. From under Images on the Always On Display screen, go to > Select image > .

    After selecting a GIF image or moving picture, you can go to Edit > Edit to edit it.

  2. Set other options available on the screen as needed, and touch Apply.

Set an AOD with Weather Information

Get the weather forecast at just a glance, by setting the right Always on Display (AOD).

  1. On the Always On Display screen, select the weather style from the Images section.

    When using this feature for the first time, follow the onscreen instructions to download the weather AOD. You can touch Preview to view the AOD display.

  2. Touch Apply.

To ensure the accuracy of weather information, make sure that you have set the location to your city in the Weather app.

Set an AOD with One-Take Animation

Use your wallpaper or a Gallery image to create seamless dynamic Always on Display (AOD) effects.

  1. On the Always On Display screen, select the one-take animation AOD from the Images section.

  2. Touch Change image. From there, feel free to:

    • Select Use current wallpaper to apply your current home screen wallpaper to the one-take animation AOD.

    • Select Select from Gallery, select your preferred image, and touch Apply.

  3. Apply any settings that suit your needs, and touch Preview to preview the AOD.

  4. Touch Apply.

Your selected image will be applied to the AOD, lock screen wallpaper, and home screen wallpaper.

Add Graffiti

Personalise your Always On Display (AOD) by having certain text display, selecting a preferred colour scheme, and adding stickers.

  1. On the Always On Display screen, select the graffiti style from the Graffiti section.

  2. Enter the text in Enter text, and set the style options, such as Colour, by following the prompt.

    You can also add Stickers, drag a sticker to relocate it, drag to adjust the size and direction of the sticker, or touch to delete the sticker.

  3. Touch Apply.

Create an Artistic Image for Always On Display

You can choose from multiple modern art styles. You can also specify the colour scheme for the artistic image, by taking a photo or choosing from your favourite photos. The colours in the photo will form a colour palette for the artistic image.

  1. From under Artistic on the Always On Display screen, touch the style you would like to use.

  2. Set the related options for the Artistic style, such as Layout.

    When setting Colour, your device can parse the colours in your specified photo and apply the abstracted colour palette to the artistic image.

    Touch , take a photo or select a photo from Gallery, and then go to > Extract colours .

  3. Touch Apply.

Clock Styles

You can select an Analogue or Digital clock style for Always On Display.

  1. From under Analogue or Digital on the Always On Display screen, swipe left or right to browse the clock styles and select your preferred clock style.

  2. Set the related options for the selected clock style, such as Show date.

  3. Touch Apply.

Get More Styles for Always On Display

On the Always On Display screen, touch My AODs or More AODs.
