  1. Open Camera, and select Video mode.

  2. Adjust the following settings:

    • Zoom in or out: Pinch in or out on the viewfinder, or drag the zoom slider.

    • Adjust the beauty effects: Touch and drag the slider to adjust the beauty settings.

    • Adjust the video resolution and frame rate: Go to > Video resolution , and select your desired resolution. A higher resolution will result in a higher quality video with a larger file size.

You can go to > Frame rate to select your desired frame rate.

    • Select a space-saving video format: Touch , and enable High efficiency format.

Once this feature is enabled, your device will use a video format that takes up less storage space. However, this may result in other devices being unable to play the video. Please exercise caution when enabling this feature.

Some of these features may not be supported on your device. Changing a specific setting will sometimes cause other settings to change as well.

Touch to take a shot of the current frame.

Enable Sound Volume to Adjust with the Zoom Level

When you are shooting a video, your device can focus on the sound of the subject you are shooting, so that the sound turns up as you zoom in.

For example, if you are recording a child singing onstage, the child's voice will become clearer as you zoom in on the child.

  1. Open Camera and select Video mode.

  2. When using the rear camera, aim the camera at the subject you want to record.

  3. Touch to start recording. Zoom in on the subject by pinching out on the viewfinder or dragging the zoom slider up.

As the camera zooms in, the recorded sound will become clearer.

  4. Touch to end the recording.

Record Mind-blowing Videos, with AI Film Effects

Add AI film effects to give your videos new flair, and spare yourself the hassle of tedious post-editing work.

  1. Open Camera, and select Video mode.

  2. Switch to the rear camera, touch below the shutter button, or swipe up near the shutter button, and touch from the quick menu. Select AI colour, Background blur, or other film effects (depending on your device model).

  3. Some devices support the 21:9 aspect ratio. Touch > Video resolution, and feel free to shoot with this aspect ratio, as it is the aspect ratio with which most films are shot.

If the icon is displayed on the device screen, touch first to ensure that the image stabilisation feature is disabled.

  4. Touch to begin recording.

While recording, touch to take a photo with the selected special effect.

  5. Touch to stop recording.

Shoot 4K UHD Videos

Your device supports 4K Ultra HD (UHD) video recording, allowing you to record in even greater clarity.

  1. Open Camera and select Video mode.

  2. Go to > Video resolution and select the 4K resolution.

Beauty mode, filters, and special effects are not supported at 4K, and will be automatically disabled when you select the 4K resolution.

  3. Return to the Video screen and touch to start recording.

A higher resolution will result in a higher quality video, but will also take up more storage space.
