[HUAWEI] Pulse wave arrhythmia analysis results on my watch/band are inaccurate |
Problem
- The user reports that an arrhythmia has occurred, but the results don't show any abnormality.
- The user's heart is healthy, but the results show that suspected premature beats or A-fibs are present.
Cause
- You are under the age of 18.
- Your heart rate is too high (such as after drinking alcohol or exercising).
- Your detection actions are not standard.
Solution
- This app is not intended for users under age 18.
- For accurate results, avoid starting a detection when your heart rate is too high (such as after drinking alcohol or exercising).
- Wear your watch/band in the correct manner, with a snug fit, and make sure that the back of your device is clean and unobstructed by foreign objects, and that the heart rate sensor on the back of your device comes into contact with your skin. During the measurement, keep still, avoid talking, and place your arm flat on the table.
A-fib and premature beats may also occur in healthy individuals. A-fibs and premature beats are not necessarily the results of a disorder, and could occur as a result of excitement, anxiety, insomnia, fatigue, or after smoking or drinking alcohol or caffeinated beverages. If the results occasionally show suspected A-fibs or premature beats, try performing multiple measurements within a set period of time, by following measurement guide. If you feel uncomfortable, please consult with a medical professional right away.
