Typeset Notes |
The Notes app supports combining images and text, making it remarkably easy to typeset notes.
Open Notes to enter the note editing screen. From there, feel free to:
Use the lasso tool: Touch
, draw a circle to select the content to be edited, and drag it freely to any location on the current page. You can also touch the content in the circle, to:
Select Cut or Copy and touch
in the upper right corner to move the content to any page in All pages.
Select Colour, touch the colour block to change the colour, and touch
to pick a colour on the screen.
Select Convert to text, and select Copy text or Insert to relocate it to any location on the screen.
Edit an image: Touch
to insert an image. Pinch two fingers together to rotate and zoom in or out on the image. You can also touch the image to use the Custom crop and Copy features. For example, you can select Custom crop to crop the image to suit your needs.
Manage pages: Swipe up with two fingers to add a page. You can also touch
, touch and hold on a note thumbnail, and then Copy, Paste, or Insert blank page to add a page. You're also free to touch and hold down on a thumbnail to adjust the page sequence.
- Set page turning: Go to Scroll direction and Page turning. and set
- Shortcut gestures: Touch
to turn on the Quick gestures switch. During writing, tap with two fingers to undo and tap with three fingers to redo.
Add and Edit a Recording
Open the Notes app, go to the note editing screen, and touch to start recording. During the recording, you can touch
and enable Note replay to play your handwriting while playing back the recording. Touch
to end the recording.
Edit a recording
You can make further edits to the recorded audio file, by touching , touching
next to the audio file, selecting Rename, Share, or Export, and following the onscreen instructions to edit the audio file.
