The glasses come with non-prescription lenses. No photochromic or polarised lenses are provided.
How do I replace the lenses?
- You can replace the lenses that come with the glasses with prescription lenses or presbyopic lenses. Optical lenses vary greatly depending on the brand, material, and compression mode of the glasses shop. It is recommended that you go to a professional glasses shop to see an optician and get suitable lenses for your glasses. Do not heat or bend the arms of the glasses as they contain electronic components. After the optical glasses are replaced in a professional glasses shop or GENTLE MONSTER store, they cannot be returned or replaced. The one-year warranty period remains valid.
- Sunglasses lenses are non-prescription lenses. Due to the complexity of the lens cutting process, Huawei and GENTLE MONSTER stores do not currently provide related services. If you replace the sunglasses lenses by yourself, GENTLE MONSTER will no longer provide a warranty for the front frame. The one-year warranty of the frame temple provided by Huawei is not affected. If the sunglasses lenses are worn out or cracked, contact a GENTLE MONSTER store to check if the lenses are in stock and then go to the store to replace them. Professional glasses shops may not be able to replace the sunglasses lenses.
- Brand-new colour lenses can be replaced. To do so, go to a professional glasses shop. You can replace the lenses of glasses with a metallic frame, but it is not recommended that you do so on those with a frame made of cellulose acetate material.
Will a lens replacement influence the warranty services?
- If the accessories or lenses of your glasses are different to the originals, they cannot be returned or replaced.
- Normal maintenance or repair is not affected, but you will need to provide a product certificate such as the warranty card and certification card, or proof of purchase issued from Huawei.
