NFC detection area may vary with phone models, but it is usually near the rear camera.

  • What should I do if there is no response when I tap my phone to the laptop's Huawei Share icon?

    • Ensure that your phone is unlocked and the screen is kept on.
    • Check that NFC is enabled.
    • Tap the NFC detection area at the back of your phone to the Huawei Share icon until your phone vibrates or rings.

  • What should I do if image transfer fails when I tap my phone to the laptop's Huawei Share icon?

    • Check the laptop model compatibility: Huawei Share OneHop is only available on laptops with PC Manager version 9.0.1.80 or later that is running in the background.
    • Make sure that Wi-Fi and Bluetooth are enabled on your laptop, and that Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and NFC are enabled on your phone. Tap the NFC detection area at the back of your phone to the Huawei Share icon again. If the issue persists, restart your phone and laptop.

  • If I open a file on my phone and my laptop at the same time, which file will be transferred first?

    • The file on your phone will be transferred to your laptop first by default.
    • To change the direction of the file transfer, close the file on your phone and go to the phone's home screen.

  • Where are files transferred from my phone stored on the laptop?

    • Open PC Manager, go to Settings > Phone Connection (My Phone) to view or modify the location where the files are stored.
