What can affect the accuracy of the step count on the HUAWEI WATCH GT 2? | (1) Huawei wearable has eliminated lots of inaccurate step
counts that occur from your irregular arm movements when taping at offices or
other activities. If other device that supports step counting does not have
such algorithm, it may happen that the step count displayed on the Huawei
wearable is different from that displayed on other devices. (2) People move a lot throughout the day, and if your movements are regular and go on for a long time, the watch may mistakenly think you're walking. (3) If you only walk a few steps at a time, the watch may not record these, which can make your step count look lower than it should be. (4) The watch and phone use accelerometers to calculate your steps by taking into account the direction of acceleration, but your phone is usually in your pocket or bag, so it relies on changes in gravitational forces and vertical motion. The watch mainly measures the user's arm movements, along with gravity and acceleration, and measures changes from these three aspects. (5) The step count you see on the home screen of the Huawei Health app is an accumulative data calculated from all your devices with your HUAWEI ID, and so the data displayed in the Huawei Health app and that displayed on your watch may vary. |

Why does it take so long for sleep data on my HUAWEI WATCH GT 2 to sync? | [Cause] Due to the large size of TruSleep data, it usually takes a relatively long time to sync data. [Solution] It is recommended that you manually sync data between the two. To do this, open the Huawei Health app, go to Me > Settings, and touch SYNC under Sync data manually. Then, check whether the data is synced after a few minutes. Moreover, you are advised to open the Huawei Health app to sync data every day. |
Why is the sleep data in my Huawei Health app is different from that displayed on my watch? | The graph in the Huawei Health app only shows sleep data for
periods longer than 3 hours. When you sleep for less than 3 hours, the data
will display in the Naps list. The sleep time that displays on your watch

for deep water activities like diving and scuba diving. The watch conforms to ISO 22810:2010 standards, and is 5 ATM water resistant, which means it's been tested in lab conditions and can endure being submerged in 50 meters of water for 10 minutes, but in reality results may vary. If worn when diving, the watch may go into fast current mode and be unable to cope with the water pressure, which can lead to it malfunctioning. |
How should I clean and maintain my HUAWEI WATCH GT 2? | Perform the following steps: (1) To keep your watch and skin clean and dry, wipe away any dirt and sweat immediately after exercising. Clean the watch regularly with a soft cloth, paying particular attention to notches and grooves. (2) If the watch has been in contact with water, dry it with a soft cloth as soon as possible. Try to keep the watch clear of anything that could damage it or make it dirty, such as dust, sand, cigarette smoke, liquid soap, soapsuds, make-up, salty water, pool water, perfume, insect repellent, washing detergent, suntan lotion, adhesives, hair dye, or any other acid-based products or solvents. (3) The leather strap is not water resistant, so don't wear it when swimming, in the shower, in the rain for extended periods, or when you're likely to be sweating for a long time, as this can damage the material. It has undergone strict testing, but if it comes into contact with hard, sharp materials such as metals, stones or glass, it can be damaged, so try to avoid these materials. Decide whether a protective film is needed depending on how you use the watch. |
Why does it take a long time to locate my position or it is unable to locate my location when my watch is not connected to my phone during a workout? | [Cause] GPS positioning is directly affected by various environmental factors, including obstructions to the GPS signal from high-rise buildings, surface reflections from large bodies of water, and interference from metal objects, all of which may affect the reception of the GPS signal and make it take longer for your watch's position to be located. [Solution] 1. Exercise in an open area with as few obstructions as possible that could block the signal. 2. When you use your watch to search for your location, it is recommended that you keep your watch Bluetooth connected for more than 2 minutes or manually synchronize data on the home screen of the Huawei Health app and ensure that your phone's Wi-Fi or data services are working normally. 3. For a better user experience, it is recommended that you connect your watch to a Huawei phone running EMUI 5.0 or later or iOS 9.0 or later in order to locate its position during an outdoor workout when you use your watch for the first time. 4. If it takes a long time to locate the watch's position with the independent GPS when the Bluetooth is disconnected, go to an open area, take off your watch and lift the watch face so it is facing the open sky in order for it to receive better satellite signals. 5. It is recommended that you keep an eye out for future updates. The new version will continue to optimize the device and solve issues. |
Why is the swimming distance/lap count inaccurate on my HUAWEI WATCH GT 2? | First, select the correct pool length and fill in accurate
personal information/personal data in the HUAWEI Health App, including your
gender, height, weight, and age, so that the algorithm can work properly and
produce accurate results. [Problem] The swimming distance is inaccurate on my watch. [Cause] (1) The watch does not support the exercise mode (moving without making strokes). (2) The statistic data is more accurate when your watch can detect continuous strokes. If you stop quite lot during swimming, the strokes, laps and stroke form data may not be very accurate. (3) The swimming stroke cannot be identified. (4) Your watch relies on your turns when swimming to determine whether you have completed a lap. If you turn around in the middle of the lane, your watch may mistakenly believe that you have reached the end of the lane, resulting in an inaccurate swimming distance. [Solution] It is recommended that you swim with standard swimming strokes and avoid making turns in the middle of the lane. [Problem] The lap count is inaccurate and more than the actual number. [Cause] (1) The lap count may increase if you stop to rest several times during a single lap. (2) The lap count may increase if you switch your stroke form during a lap. (3) One lap may be counted as two if you turn around during a single lap. [Problem] The lap count is inaccurate and less than the actual number. [Cause] (1) Your watch fails to identify your stroke form. (2) Your stroke is irregular or inconsistent. (3) Your turn is not detected by the algorithm if your arms move too frequently when turning. (4) Your stroke is too slow and no turn is detected. [Solution] It is recommended that you swim with standard stroke forms, and touch the end of the lane with the hand wearing the watch each time to make turns. [Note] If you have enabled the swimming mode on your watch while still making other movements, like walking, playing in water, doing warm-up exercise, or taking showers, these movements may be mistakenly recorded as part of your swimming workout and result in inaccurate data. |
Why is the distance of my swimming track in open water displayed on my HUAWEI WATCH GT 2 inaccurate? | [Cause] When you are swimming in open water, your watch uses GPS to track your route and distance. Your watch will only be able to receive GPS signals when it is above the water. If it is constantly under the water while you are swimming, your swimming track will be incomplete or missing, and the swimming distance will be incorrect. [Solution] Ensure that your watch is regularly above water while you are swimming. Freestyle swimming is a recommended stroke for greater accuracy when recording your swimming track. [Note] Open water refers to open water areas such as rivers, lakes, and seas. Outdoor pools and swimming pools are not classed as open water, meaning that you will not be able to record your swimming route in pools, where you are advised to use the Pool swim mode instead. |
Why doesn't the screen of my HUAWEI WATCH GT 2 turn on when I raise my wrist? | [Solutions] (1) Enable Raise wrist to wake screen in the Huawei Health app. (2) Disable No Disturb or reset the period for No Disturb. (3) When you have just woken up, your watch may still be in Sleep mode, which doesn't support the Raise wrist to wake screen feature. You can exit Sleep mode by pressing the button on your watch or by moving about. You will then be able to use the Raise wrist to wake screen feature. (4) The Raise wrist to wake screen feature doesn't work when the standby watch face is enabled. Disable Standby mode before raising your watch to turn on the screen. (5) To ensure that your sleep is not affected by light from the screen, the Raise wrist to wake screen feature is not available in Sleep mode. |
Why doesn't my HUAWEI WATCH GT 2 respond when I raise my wrist? | The sensitivity of your watch to your movement depends on how
you use the watch. If you feel that the watch is not sensitive to your
movement, please perform the following steps: (1) Keep your wrist horizontal. Quickly rotate your wrist between 30–90 degrees. The screen will turn on in less than 1 second. (2) Rotate the watch inwards between 30–90 degrees when you raise your wrist. The screen will turn on in less than 1 second. (3) When rotating or raising your wrist inwards, try to stop at an angle with your watch screen facing you. |
Does the HUAWEI WATCH GT 2 support music playback control? | Yes, it's supported. Open Huawei Health, enter the HUAWEI WATCH
GT 2 screen from the Device tab, go to Music > Control phone music, then you can change on your watch the music being played
on your phone and the volume of the music. [Note]: (1) The Control phone music feature is only supported on Android phones. (2) Open a music player on your phone before using the feature. |
Can I download music to my HUAWEI WATCH GT 2? | Yes, you can. Open Huawei Health, enter the HUAWEI WATCH GT 2 screen from the Device tab, and go to Music >Manage Music >ADD. Select songs from the list and touch √ in the upper right corner to save the settings. (Only audio files in MP3 and LC-AAC formats can be downloaded. This feature is not supported on phones running iOS.) |
Why can't my sleep data be synchronized between my HUAWEI WATCH GT 2 and my phone? | (1) Check whether there is sleep data on your watch. Sleep data
may not be recorded if your wrist moves frequently while you are asleep, as
the sensor may not detect that you are sleeping. To prevent this from
happening, try wearing your watch on your non-dominant hand while sleeping
(on your left hand if you are right-handed, and vice versa). Your watch may
also not be able to record sleep data for an afternoon nap that is too short.
(2) If there is sleep data on your watch, but no TruSleep data can be synced to Huawei Health, please check whether HUAWEI TruSleepTM has been enabled: (a) Android phones: Open Huawei Health, enter the HUAWEI WATCH GT 2 screen from the Device tab, and enable HUAWEI TruSleepTM. (b) iOS phones: Open Huawei Health, enter the HUAWEI WATCH GT 2 screen from the Device tab, and enable HUAWEI TruSleepTM. (3) If you are still unable to sync the TruSleep data after HUAWEI TruSleepTM is enabled, perform the following steps: (a) Before syncing the data, perform some operations on the watch. For example, turn on the screen to check the time, then refresh the data in Huawei Health. (b) It may take some time to sync the TruSleep data as it's usually very large. You are advised to go to Me > Settings > Sync data manually to start manual syncing. Then wait for several minutes to see whether the data has been synced. (c) TruSleep only analyzes sleep that is longer than 3 hours. Sleep that lasts less than 3 hours may be recorded as a nap. (4) Sleep data syncing is suspended during 0:00–6:00 am and resumes at 6:00 am. (5) TruSleep data needs to be analyzed based on your heart rate. If your watch is too loose or too tight when you sleep, the heart rate value can't be collected, and TruSleep data may not be synced to Huawei Health. You are advised to adjust the watch so it can collect the correct heart rate data when you are asleep before syncing the data again. (6) If the issue persists, restart your watch and try again. |
When I receive an incoming call, why does the HUAWEI WATCH GT 2 sometimes display a number rather than a name? | After the watch is paired with your phone via Bluetooth, permission to access the contacts is obtained by default. When you receive an incoming call from the SIM or phone contacts, the caller's name will be displayed. If the caller is not in your contacts list, the caller's number will be displayed. |
Why does the Bluetooth connection between my HUAWEI WATCH GT 2 and phone stop working when my watch is being updated? | If HUAWEI Health is closed in the background, the Bluetooth
connection between your watch and phone will stop working, resulting in an
update failure. Please keep HUAWEI Health open with your watch and phone
remaining connected, then try updating again. To carry out an update, the watch needs to decompress and install the update package which has been transferred from the Huawei Health app. After that, a message is displayed in the app indicating that the Bluetooth has disconnected, while an update animation is displayed on the watch. Please wait patiently for the watch to automatically restart and reconnect to the phone after the update. |
How do I charge my HUAWEI WATCH GT 2? | (1) Connect the charging cradle to a power adapter, and plug in
the power adapter. (2) Place the watch on the charging cradle. Align and attach the charging contacts of your watch to those of the charging cradle until you can see the battery level on the watch face. (3) A 100% icon is displayed after the watch is fully charged and it will automatically stop charging. Charging will start automatically if the battery level is below 100% and the charger is connected to the phone. [Notes]: It is recommended that you attach the charging cradle to your watch, and ensure that the side of your watch with buttons is aligned with the charging port of the cradle. The charging icon will then display, indicating that it's charging. If you do not see the charging icon, you may need to adjust the position of the cradle until contact is established and for the charging icon to appear. Your watch will automatically power off when its battery level is too low. The charging icon will be displayed after you start charging it. After charging for a while, your watch will automatically power on. |
How long are the standby time and usage time of my watch? | The watch uses industry-leading lithium batteries. The capacity
of 46 mm batteries is 455 mAh, which can sustain a normal use of about 14
days. The capacity of 42 mm batteries is 215 mAh, and can be used for about 7
days under normal use. The standby time of the watch depends on the battery capacity and the way you use it, such as how many times you turn on the screen, whether you use the Standby watch face, and for how long you use GPS-enabled apps. |
How long does it take to fully charge my HUAWEI WATCH GT 2? | It takes about two hours for a full charge. It is recommended
that you unplug the charging cradle or remove your watch from the cradle once
your watch is fully charged to avoid charging it for too long. Otherwise, it
may damage the battery and reduce the lifespan of the charger. Check the charging icon to find out the charging progress. Once fully charged, the battery icon will indicate a 100% battery level. |
What are the precautions for charging my HUAWEI WATCH GT 2? | (1) Keep the charging port dry and clean before charging. (2) Keep the ambient temperature between 0°C – 35°C. (3) The lightning icon indicates that the watch is connected to the power supply successfully. (4) If your watch is powered off, charging it will cause it to power on. |
Why does my HUAWEI WATCH GT 2 heat up during charging? | Your watch's components continue to operate when the watch is
charging. Therefore, the temperature of the watch may increase slightly. This
is normal and does not indicate an issue with your phone. Using your watch while charging will cause it to heat up and prolong the charging time. It is recommended that you charge your watch in a well-ventilated environment and avoid using your watch for extended periods while charging. If you wear your watch immediately after charging, your watch will feel warm as it has not had time to cool down. It will cool down by itself after a short period of time. |
How can I make my HUAWEI WATCH GT 2's battery last longer? | The actual standby time of your watch depends on the
configuration, operation, usage environment, and battery life of your watch.
Update your watch to the latest version and do the following to save
power: (1) Go to Settings >Display > Brightness on your watch and enable Auto so that the screen brightness will reduce in a well-lit environment. (2) Disable Raise wrist to wake screen in the Huawei Health app if you do not need this feature and want the watch screen to turn on less. (3) Pair your watch and phone (running EMUI 5.0 or later, or iOS 9 or later) via Bluetooth, to reduce power consumption by using the assisted GPS positioning. (4) Use GPS on your watch when exercising in an open area. Updating ephemeris data via Bluetooth helps reduce the power consumed in searching for GPS. (5) Some features in the 301 Hospital's heart health app may increase power consumption. You are advised to disable these features when you don't need them. (6) Disable the message push function for apps that you do not use frequently on the notification management screen in Huawei Health. (7) Disable the Bluetooth disconnection notification if you do not want to receive these notifications. (8) Some watch faces are brighter than others, and the brighter watch faces have a higher power consumption. Using the default watch faces can increase the standby time. (9) Displaying your heart rate on the watch face may increase power consumption. You can enable Smart mode to monitor your heart rate in the Huawei Health app. (10) Control the duration and volume when you play music or make a Bluetooth call on your watch. (11) Disable Automatic stress test, as this feature allows your watch to monitor the changes in your heart rate change and how active you are, which will increase power consumption. (12) Enable No Disturb mode when you are resting to reduce the power consumption caused by the screen turning on and messages being pushed to your watch. |
Does my HUAWEI WATCH GT 2 support fast charging? | No, it doesn't. A 30-min charge may increase the battery level to 40%–50%, and a 60-min charge may increase the battery level to 80%–90%. A full charge is normally completed in 120 minutes. |
What should I do if the charging contacts on the back of my HUAWEI WATCH are corroded? | Corrosion may occur if there is moisture on the surface of the charging contacts during charging. Make sure that the back of your watch and the charging contacts are clean and dry before charging, and wipe your watch clean after a workout. Use a soft cloth to wipe your watch and remove any dirt from the slots or gaps on a regular basis. If the corrosion affects normal charging, go to an authorized Huawei Customer Service Center for assistance. |
How can I display the heart rate data on my HUAWEI WATCH GT 2? Why does my heart rate value display a "--" symbol? | If Continuous heart rate monitoring is enabled on the Huawei Health app, your watch will automatically measure your heart rate 24 hours a day when worn, and display your heart rate value directly on the watch face. If Continuous heart rate monitoring is disabled, you can touch the Up button on your watch's home screen to enter the apps list, then touch Heart rate to initiate a heart rate measurement manually. Your heart rate value will then be automatically updated to your watch face. If your heart rate value displays as a "--" symbol, check whether Continuous heart rate monitoring is enabled on the Huawei Health app, or touch Heart rate to initiate a heart rate measurement manually. If you enable Smart mode for the Continuous heart rate monitoring feature on the Huawei Health app, your watch automatically measures your heart rate each time the screen is on. This may take a while. Please wait for a few seconds if the value is not displayed immediately. |
Does the HUAWEI WATCH GT 2 support heart rate measurement and how do I use it? | Your watch comes equipped with an industry-leading heart rate
monitoring sensor and cutting-edge technologies to accurately monitor both
your resting and dynamic heart rate based on the fluctuations of your blood
flow. You can use the heart rate measurement in three ways: (1) Press the Up button on the home screen of your watch, swipe up or down on the screen to find Heart rate, and touch it to start measuring. During the process, ensure that your watch is well-attached on your wrist, and that the watch face is facing upwards. You can also gently press downwards on your watch face to increase contact between the watch and your wrist. (2) Your watch automatically and continuously measures your heart rate when you start the workout, and alerts you if your heart rate is abnormal. (3) If Continuous heart rate monitoring is enabled on the Huawei Health app, your watch will automatically measure your heart rate 24 hours a day when worn. |
What are the factors that affect heart rate monitoring? | The accuracy of heart rate measurement can be affected by
multiple factors, such as the environment and the way that your wear the
watch. If you find the heart rate data to be inaccurate, perform the
following steps: (1) Ensure the best fit and comfort when you wear your watch, as your pulse may not be measured correctly if you are not wearing your watch properly. Keep the watch at least one finger's width away from the carpal bone. Prevent it from slipping while you are exercising. (2) Ensure that the back of the watch is clean, dry, and is not covered by foreign objects. Excessive sweating during exercise can cause your watch to slip or obstruct the LED light at the rear that is used for the measurement, resulting in inaccurate data. Clean your wrist and your watch, ensure that you are wearing it properly, and try again. (3) Ensure that the part of your wrist where the watch is attached does not have scars, tattoos, or too many hairs. (4) Initiate a heart rate measurement when you have warmed up, as the blood flow may be reduced in cold temperatures and can affect the measurement. (5) Your heart rate measurement may be more accurate for workouts with regular movements (such as running, walking, and cycling) than those with irregular movements (such as ball games). Choose the proper workout mode from the workout menu before starting. (6) If you find that the heart rate value is abnormal during the workout, keep your watch facing upwards for 10–15 seconds to re-track your heart rate. If the result cannot be detected after several attempts, restart your watch and try again. |
Does my HUAWEI WATCH GT 2 alert me when the heart rate value exceeds the limit? | Yes. After you start a workout using your watch, your watch will
vibrate to alert you if your heart rate value exceeds the upper limit that
you preset for more than 10 seconds. To check and set up the heart rate
limit, open the Huawei Health app and go to Me > Settings > Heart rate limit and
zones > Heart
rate limit. [Note]: The default heart rate limit is 200-your age which is obtained from the age data you fill in. If Voice broadcast is disabled, your watch can only vibrate to alert you and send you a notification, but will not make any broadcasts. Your watch only alerts you of any excessive heart rate values during a workout, but not during routine monitoring. |
How do I stop the heart rate measurement, and how long does each measurement last? | To pause the heart rate measurement, swipe right on your watch screen. Each measurement usually takes approximately 6–10 seconds to display the first value (1–2 seconds if Continuous heart rate monitoring is enabled on the Huawei Health app), and the data refreshes every 5 seconds afterwards. A complete measurement takes approximately 45 seconds. |
Why is the resting heart rate is displayed as "- -" on my HUAWEI WATCH GT 2? | The resting heart displayed on your watch is your measured heart
rate when you are awake and not moving around or exercising. Your watch will
measure your heart rate in the morning right after you wake up (before you
get out of bed) or when you are not moving to determine your resting heart
rate. If the resting heart rate is displayed as "- -", it may be because it isn't a suitable time for the watch to take the measurement. Note: To obtain a more accurate resting heart rate value, please enable Continuous heart rate monitoring in the Huawei Health app and wear your watch while you are asleep. |
Why does the heart rate indicator on the back of my phone still light up when I am not wearing the HUAWEI WATCH GT 2? | Before your watch measures your heart rate, it will first detect
whether you are wearing the watch. It will proceed to measure your heart rate
if it detects that it is currently being worn. (1) If you are doing a workout and then take off your watch, the heart rate monitor will continue working for 10 minutes before the light goes off. (2) If you are not doing a workout, the heart rate monitoring works for 24 hours a day, but will stop immediately if you take off the watch. Due to the limitation of the sensor and algorithm used, your watch may incorrectly assume that it is being worn and perform heart rate measurements when it is placed on certain materials (such as on top of a mirror) or when an object comes close to the back surface of the watch. |
Can the heart rate data generated by my HUAWEI WATCH GT 2 be used as a medical reference? | Your watch comes with a cutting-edge heart rate monitor that measures your blood flow to calculate your heart rate. However, the accuracy of the heart rate measurement is affected by numerous external factors, including how you wear the watch, the ambient temperature, as well as individual physiological factors. The watch is not a medical device. The test data and results are for reference only and cannot be used for diagnosis and medical purposes. |
Why does the heart rate value on my HUAWEI WATCH GT 2 change constantly even though I am not moving? | It is normal for your heart rate to change slightly even when you are resting. Your heart rate will change more significantly when you stand up, sit down, eat, drink, or perform other minor tasks. |
Why is the heart rate value on my HUAWEI WATCH GT 2 often higher at the beginning of exercise? | In order to be able to quickly determine your heart rate as soon as you start exercising, the heart rate measurement algorithm is designed in such a way that the initial measurement may be occasionally a little bit higher. However, this will not affect the accuracy of the heart rate measurement for subsequent exercises. |
Does the HUAWEI WATCH GT 2 support real-time heart rate monitoring? | Your watch supports real-time monitoring so long as Continuous
heart rate monitoring is enabled on the device screen in the Huawei Health
app. There are two modes for Continuous heart rate monitoring: Smart: Your watch automatically adjusts the frequency of measurements depending on your current state of activity. It measures your heart rate every 10 minutes when you are doing medium-or-low intensity exercises, and takes a measurement once a second during high-intensity exercises. Real-time: Your watch monitors your heart rate in real time 24 hours a day. |
Does heart rate monitoring consume a lot of battery power and can I disable it? | Your watch is optimized so that its heart rate measurement
function only consumes a small amount of extra battery power. Continuous
heart rate monitoring is enabled by default and will measure your heart rate
at set points throughout the day. Disable Continuous heart rate monitoring on the device screen in the Huawei Health app if you do not want to measure your heart rate. [Note]: The heart rate value and resting heart rate value on your watch may be affected if Continuous heart rate monitoring is disabled. |
What are the functions of the four holes at the rear of the HUAWEI WATCH GT 2? Why do some indicators light up and some do not light up? | There is a PPG heart rate sensor at the center of the back cover of your watch. The sensor measures your heart rate by shining a weak green light through your body to detect the flow of arterial blood. Two of the four holes have green LEDs which emit green light when your watch is measuring your heart rate, while the other two have PDs (photodiodes) which detect the light emitted by the two LEDs and do not emit light themselves. |
Why is sleep data still displayed in the HUAWEI WATCH GT 2 even though I have disabled TruSleep? | Your watch starts ordinary sleep monitoring after TruSleep is disabled in Huawei Health. However, no sleep quality rating will be displayed, nor is quick eye movement analysis performed after the ordinary sleep data is synced to Huawei Health. |
Why does my HUAWEI WATCH GT 2 screen turn on when I am asleep? | If you move your wrist when you are sleeping, your watch may
interpret this as a wake screen gesture and therefore turn on the screen.
Enable No Disturb after you enable TruSleep in Huawei Health, so that when your watch detects that you are sleeping, it will automatically disable Standby watch face, notifications for incoming messages and calls, and the Raise wrist to wake screen feature, as well as other functions in order to prevent your watch from disturbing you when you are sleeping. To enable No Disturb, swipe down on the home screen of your watch. |
How frequently does the HUAWEI WATCH GT 2 measure my sleep data? | Your watch measures your sleep data from 20:00 to 20:00 on the following day (24 hours in total). For example, if you sleep for 11 hours from 19:00 to 06:00, your watch will count the length of time you slept before 20:00 to the first day and the rest of the time that you were asleep during the following second day. |
How do I measure my stress levels with my HUAWEI WATCH GT 2? | To test your stress levels with your watch, enable the feature in Huawei Health. You have to calibrate it before using it for the first time. After the stress calibration, you can measure your stress manually, or allow your watch to monitor your stress automatically and continuously. (only available for Android phones) |
Why isn't the stress value displayed on my HUAWEI WATCH GT 2? | If no stress value is displayed, perform the following steps to
troubleshoot the issue: (1) Check whether Automatic stress test is enabled on the device screen in Huawei Health. (2) Keep still when your watch is testing your stress. If the stress values still aren't displayed, perform stress calibration by touching to enter the stress card on the home screen of Huawei Health. Keep still for more than 30 minutes after the calibration while wearing the watch (it is recommended that you test the stress while you are sleeping and check the value the next morning). If the issue persists, back up important data, bring your device and proof of purchase to an authorized Huawei Customer Service Center for assistance. Note: Stress test is only available for Android phones. If you manually measure the stress in Huawei Health, the value is displayed on the app instead of the watch. It takes 30 minutes to test your stress levels. If you move during a test, the device will restart the process after 5 minutes. |
Why can't frequently used contacts be updated automatically on my HUAWEI WATCH GT 2? | This feature is not supported on your watch. If the contact information is updated, delete the contact manually in Huawei Health, and then add it from your phone again. |
Why can't I switch the audio channel to my HUAWEI WATCH GT 2 when I'm dialing on my phone? | Wait until the dialing is complete and for the other party to answer the call before switching the audio channel. |
How do I add frequently used contacts on my HUAWEI WATCH GT 2? | After pairing your watch with your phone, enter the device screen in Huawei Health and touch Favorite contacts to add contacts from your phone. |
Why is the volume low during a Bluetooth call on the HUAWEI WATCH GT 2? | Try increasing the volume on the call screen during the call. You are advised to make calls on your phone if you're in a public place for privacy reasons. |
Why is the voice unclear and has background noise during a call on my HUAWEI WATCH GT 2? | Play music on your watch to see whether the music sounds normal.
If yes, perform the following steps to troubleshoot: (1) Place your watch closer to the paired phone to see whether the sound is better. (2) Disable Wi-Fi on your phone, as the Wi-Fi connection may interfere with Bluetooth due to channel conflicts on some phones. (3) Check the strength of the network signal. If the mobile signal is weak, the signal reception on your watch will also be weak. You are advised to make calls in an open area with a stable network connection. (4) If the issues are not resolved, unpair your watch and connect it to another phone. If the music is not played properly, check whether the speaker hole is blocked by any objects or water. If it's blocked, use a soft brush to gently clean the speaker hole near the button of the watch, or shake your watch with the speaker hole facing downwards to shake the water out. If the issue persists, bring your device and proof of purchase to an authorized Huawei Customer Service Center for assistance. |
