Can't sync Notepad data to Cloud

Problem

The user is unable to sync Notepad data from their phone/tablet to Cloud, despite enabling sync for Notepad by going to Settings > HUAWEI ID and navigating to Account center > Cloud > Notepad.

Solution

  1. Check the amount of Notepad data in Cloud by going to Cloud > Manage storage > Notepad. A maximum of 5000 Notes, 1000 To-dos, and 1000 categories can be synced to Cloud. Once this threshold is met, no more Notepad data can be synced to Cloud.
  2. If your device runs HarmonyOS 3.0 and is connected to a cellular network, trigger syncing after toggling on the syncing switch for Notepad by going to Notepad > Settings, toggling on Sync with mobile data, and then refreshing the notes list screen by swiping down.
  3. Update Cloud on your phone/tablet to its latest version. Open AppGallery and search for Cloud, then check for updates.
  4. Toggle off and then on the syncing switch for Notepad to trigger syncing.

If the issue remains unresolved, provide the following information and escalate the issue for further troubleshooting:

HUAWEI ID, Cloud app version, Notepad app version, remote diagnosis log, and last operation time

  1. Diagnostic analysis is supported on devices running EMUI 10.0 or later.
  2. To query the Cloud app version, go to Settings > Apps & services > Apps, and search for and touch Cloud.
