Cross-device search results using AI Search are incomplete or the desired results cannot be found |
Cross-device searches with AI Search depend on the search function of HUAWEI Assistant·TODAY on the phone, and the cross-device search results are the same as the results provided by HUAWEI Assistant·TODAY. If an item cannot be found using HUAWEI Assistant·TODAY, it cannot be found via AI Search either. In addition, the phone has the following restrictions on the search specifications:
- When an Office file is added on your phone, the file will only be parsed when the phone screen is off and the phone has been charged continuously for 70 minutes. A maximum of 50 new files can be parsed each day. Content in files cannot be searched for if the files have not been parsed.
- When an image is added to your phone, the image will only be parsed when the battery level of your phone is greater than 50% and the phone is being charged with the screen off. It takes 3 seconds to parse an image. Images that have not been parsed cannot be searched by name.
- To reduce power consumption, your phone can scan all files for a maximum of 5 minutes at a time and only once a day.
- Only files in the first seven levels of directories under the root directory of your phone's drive can be searched for.
- Cross-device searches do not support the following formats:
1. Documents: RTF and TXT.
2. Images: EPS, MPO, RAW, and TGA.
3. Videos: M4U, RM, and MPG4.
