How to set the Wi-Fi 5 Backup Network of my HUAWEI router

If some Wi-Fi 5 devices (such as laptops with Intel network adapters) cannot detect Wi-Fi 6 signals, you can connect them to the Backup Wi-Fi 5 network.
Wi-Fi 6 devices can also connect to a Backup Wi-Fi 5 network, which may not be able to provide an Internet access experience as satisfactory as Wi-Fi 6 networks.
You can enable or disable Backup Wi-Fi 5 network in either of the following ways:
Method 1: Using the AI Life App
- Open the AI Life App, touch the corresponding router to access the router management screen.
- Then go to Show more > Wi-Fi management > Wi-Fi (or go to Network > Wi-Fi management > Backup Wi-Fi 5 network).
- Touch the Backup Wi-Fi 5 network switch.
Method 2: Through the web-based management page
- Connect your computer to the router's LAN port using an Ethernet cable. Enter the default IP address in the browser address bar to log in to the web-based management page(check the nameplate at the bottom of the router for the default IP address).
If the router features self-adaptive network ports, you do not need to distinguish the WAN port from the LAN port.
