How do I use the One-Touch Connect of the HUAWEI router

NFC is enabled on the router by default. Enable NFC on your phone/tablet, and then tap the device against the NFC area on the router to connect it to the router's Wi-Fi network.

  • This feature is available on devices that support NFC, but some devices with non-standard NFC may be unable to connect. iOS devices do not support this feature.
  • When the phone or tablet screen is locked or off, One-Touch Connect will not work.

The following example describes how to connect a HUAWEI phone to the router's Wi-Fi network using One-Touch Connect:

  1. When the phone screen is unlocked and on, swipe down from the status bar to open the notification panel, and turn on NFC. (The specific path may vary depending on the phone model.)
  2. Tap the phone's NFC area (generally around the rear camera) against the NFC area on the router.
  3. In the Connect to network dialog box, touch Connect to complete the Wi-Fi connection.

To disable this feature, log in to the router's web-based management page and go to More Functions > System Settings > NFC, and turn off the OneHop Connect button.
