1.1 Payment method at POS machine

Method 1: Place the watch face close to the sensor area of the POS machine without unlocking the watch. After the card swiping interface is displayed, leave the POS machine, select the bank card to be swiped, and perform payment verification (enter the unlock password of the watch). Place the watch close to the POS machine again to swipe the card.

Method 2: Manually open the Watch Wallet App, select the bank card to be used, touch to pay, and then close to the POS sensor area to swipe the card.

 

1.2 Handling Method of No Response to Card Sweeping

When swiping a bank card bound to the wallet of your wearable device fails, does not respond, or cannot be swiped, perform the following steps:

1.       Check whether the card-swiping POS machine is a common POS machine used by large supermarkets. Currently, some small Mpos card-swiping machines (handheld POS machines that require Bluetooth connection) may have compatibility problems. It is recommended that you use large supermarkets to swipe the card to check whether the POS machine is faulty.

2.       Check whether there are prompt messages on the wearable wallet screen and POS screen. If a message is displayed indicating that the card is swiped successfully in the wallet, and the POS machine displays a message indicating that the transaction times out or the connection times out, replace the POS machine or bank card. The connection between the POS machine and the bank system may be abnormal.

 

1.3 What should I do if the card is successfully swiped when I wear it during payment and the merchant does not receive the fee?

Symptom:

Use the bank card bound to the wearable device wallet to pay. The wearable device displays a message indicating that the card is swiped successfully and the merchant does not receive the fee.

Solution:

If the wearer displays a message indicating that the card is swiped on the wallet side, it indicates that the card has been swiped on the wallet side. The subsequent transactions will be conducted by UnionPay and the card reader. If you encounter such problems, contact UnionPay customer service hotline 95516 and ask UnionPay customer service merchants whether they support Huawei Pay bank card consumption.
