My phone does not respond when I use the Find Phone feature on my HUAWEI watch/band |

If your phone does not respond when you use the Find Phone feature, perform the following to troubleshoot.
1. Make sure that your watch/band is linked with Huawei Health
- This feature is not available when your watch/band is disconnected from Huawei Health.
- Once device connection is normal, access the shortcut menu screen on your wearable, touch Find Phone, and the Find Phone animation will play on the screen, as shown in the following figures.
If you are using a TalkBand device, make sure that the earpiece is in the strap and that the Bluetooth connection is normal. The Find Phone feature is only available on the device that has been linked with and is currently connected to the Huawei Health app.
2. Add Huawei Health to the list of protected background apps
- HUAWEI phones: Swipe up from the bottom of the screen (or touch the Recent tasks icon on the navigation bar if there is a navigation bar) to enter the Recent tasks screen, find Huawei Health, and gently swipe down on it and hold to lock it. Once locked, you will see a lock icon at its upper right corner.
- Non-HUAWEI Android phones: Open Huawei Health, touch Devices, select your device card, touch Watch connection protection or Band connection protection, and follow the onscreen instructions to complete the setting.

- iPhones: Go to Settings > HUAWEI Health, and turn on Background App Refresh. In addition, keep HUAWEI Health running in the background, and do not swipe up to clear the app.
If you are using an iPhone and the phone screen is turned off, your phone may not respond to the Find Phone feature as ringtone playback is controlled by iOS.
