When the network speed is slow and the size of a message is large, there may be a delay for the message to be sent, which is normal. If it takes too long, perform the following operations.
Update the kids watch and the HUAWEI FamCare app to their latest versions at your earliest convenience.

A delay on the watch when receiving a message
- Swipe down the status bar of the watch to check whether the watch's network signal is strong and the up and down arrows for its data service are displayed normally. The watch can only receive chat messages in a timely manner when the watch's network signal is strong and data service is normal.
- Configure a Wi-Fi network for the watch, and see if the issue is resolved.
A delay on the phone when receiving a message
- Enable Wi-Fi or mobile data for your phone, and see if the issue is resolved.
- The background protection and message notification permissions are set incorrectly for the HUAWEI FamCare app. In this case, set the background protection for the app on your phone.
