Problem
When a keyboard with Fingerprint ID is connected to the computer, the keyboard works properly when the computer is powered on. However, after the computer is powered off or enters hibernation, the keyboard cannot be used to power on and unlock the computer with Fingerprint ID.
Cause
After the computer is powered off or enters hibernation, the power supply of most modules will be cut off. Keyboards with Fingerprint ID can only work properly when they are connected to the computer through the port dedicated for keyboards with Fingerprint ID. If they are connected through another keyboard port, they cannot be used to power on the computer with Fingerprint ID.
Solution
Connect the keyboard with Fingerprint ID to your computer through the dedicated port (a keyboard icon is displayed on the right side of the port). You then can use the keyboard to power on and unlock your computer with Fingerprint ID.
