FIDO security key is supported on phones with built-in fingerpirnt sensor (supporting fingerprint recognition), running EMUI 5.X or later and installed with HMS core 4.0.3 or later.
If your Huawei phone does not have the FIDO security key icon, perform the following:
- Check and update the versions of EMUI and HMS Core.
- To check the EMUI version, go to .
- To update your phone to the latest EMUI version, go to and touch the option for update.
- To check the HMS Core version, go to , search for and access HMS Core, and its version number will be displayed on theApp info screen..
- To update HMS Core, open AppGallery, search for HMS Core, and tap Update.
- On an applicable phone, swipe down from the status bar to open the notification panel, touch
in the upper right corner, and drag the FIDO security key icon from the bottom to the notification panel.
