Changing the default location for new apps downloaded from Microsoft Store
  1. Press Win + I to open the Settings screen.

  2. Go to Storage > Storage management > Advanced storage settings > Where new content is saved.

  3. Click New apps will save to, select the location where you would like to save apps (such as the D drive), and then click Apply.

  4. Close the Settings screen and open the drive you set as the location (such as the D drive). You will then find that WindowsApps has already been created in it.
