| The keyboard responds slowly when I enter text on my HUAWEI phone/tablet |
Problem:
When the user quickly touches the screen of a HUAWEI phone/tablet (for example, to dial a number or type text), the input is incorrect, the response is slow, or no response is returned.
Solution:
- Disable Ignore repeated touches
To disable this feature, perform the following steps:
- Go to Settings > Accessibility features > Accessibility > Touchscreen settings, and disable Ignore repeated touches.
- Delete the input method app data
Open Settings, search for and access Apps, find the corresponding input method app, and go to Storage > Clear data.
- Clean up the storage space
Optimizer can optimize your device environment intelligently, and free up more memory to improve system performance. Swipe up from the bottom of the screen to access the recent tasks screen, close apps running in the background, go to Optimizer/Tablet Manager > Optimizer, free up the device memory, and try again.
- Update the input method app version
Go to AppGallery, search for the input method, and update it to the latest version.
