Refer to Firmware and software update guide for the HUAWEI FreeBuds and FreeLace series earphones when updating the earphones' firmware and software. If the update fails, perform the following steps:

The batery levels of the earphones and the charging case should be no less than 30% for FreeBuds Pro, and no less than 10% for FreeBuds Studio. And single earphone cannot be updated.
- Place your earphones and phone/tablet together (within 50 cm of each other) and keep them away from sources of strong electromagnetic interference, such as microwave ovens and Wi-Fi routers.
- Reset the earphones or restore them to their factory settings, pair them with your device again, and update the earphones.
To update a pair of FreeLace earphones running version 1.0.0.137 or earlier, first attach the earphones.
If the issue persists, take your device and proof of purchase to an authorized Huawei Customer Service Center for assistance.
