Serial number ("S/N" for short) refers to a product's ID, and is also known as the machine number, authentication code, and registration code.
You can view the S/N of a HUAWEI monitor through the label on the packing box, nameplate on the device body, or OSD menu of the monitor.

If you cannot find the packaging box, you can view the S/N on the nameplate of the monitor device body. You can click the following link to view the S/N of your monitor model.

The nameplate is located at the port area on the rear of the monitor, as shown in the following figures.
- HUAWEI MateView
The nameplate is located at the bottom of the monitor, as shown in the following figures. Carefully place the monitor with its screen facing upward and view the nameplate.
- HUAWEI MateView GT Series
The nameplate is under the ports. Open the port protective cover at the rear of the monitor and view the nameplate under the ports, as shown in the following figures.

- Locate the button above the ports at the rear of the display
, push the button upwards, lift the lower end of the base support, and pull out the base. - After removing the base, you can view the nameplate on the rear of the monitor, as shown in the following figures.

Method: With the monitor powered on, press the five-way joystick upward when facing the monitor, to open the menu. Go to to view the monitor's serial number.

Method: After the monitor is powered on, press any function key to open the OSD menu. Go to to view the monitor's serial number.

If you cannot find the SN, go to a nearby Huawei Customer Service Center for assistance. (Paper and electronic invoices and valid vouchers from e-commerce channels can act as warranty proof.)
