GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR Fit 4 More Miles Campaign (“Campaign”)
1. Scope of application

1.1 By taking part in the Campaign, the participant accepts these Terms and Conditions.

1.2 The organizer of the Campaign is Huawei Technologies (UK) Co., Ltd. Earley East, Thames Valley Park Drive, Reading, England, RG6 1PT (herein: “Organizer”).

2. Important Information

2.1 The participant must take part in this Campaign pursuant to their own exercise capability and participate in the activity during this Campaign in a safe and suitable manner which is commensurate to their own exercise capabilities and limits.

2.2 The Organizer is released from any and all liability whatsoever, which may arise from any direct or indirect loss, injury or death, caused by any person's actual or intended participation in the Campaign.

3. Eligibility for Participation

3.1 The Campaign is open to all persons who, at the date of entry, are (1) aged 18 years or over; and (2) who are resident in the UK .

3.2 The Organizer's employees, their immediate family members, and employees of cooperation partners who are or were involved in creating or implementing the Campaign, are excluded from participation.

3.3 Participation is only possible on one's own behalf and joint entries are not allowed. There is a restriction on one entry per person.

4. Participation

4.1 Participation in the Campaign is free of charges and fees and does not require the purchase of goods and/or services. Strava account and internet access required.

4.2 The The competition Campaign starts on 16th May 2025 at 00:01
The deadline for registration is 26th June 2025 at 23:59. Please refer to section 4.3 for deadlines to complete the entry requirements. Entries received outside of these deadlines shall not be considered.

4.3 To take part in the Campaign, the following actions are required:

4.3.1 Sign up for the Fit 4 More Miles Challenge in the Strava Challenge Gallery and complete the challenge: record at least 4 hours of exercise activity between 00:01 on 30th May 2025 and 23:59 on 26th June 2025.

4.3.2 Following completion of the Fit 4 More Miles Challenge, you will receive a link to the landing page where you will need to subscribe to the HUAWEI email newsletter before 23:59 on 29th June 2025. By subscribing and providing your email, you agree to receive the latest offers and information on Huawei products and news. You can unsubscribe at any time.

4.4 Entries containing any defamatory, obscene, illegal, offensive, or any other unsuitable material will be disqualified and withdrawn by the participant.

4.5 The Organizer accepts no responsibility for incomplete, incorrectly completed, lost or delayed entries or for any malfunctions or failures in the software that has been designed to maintain the participant’s details.

4.6 The Organizer reserves the right to exclude a participant who violates these terms and conditions, tampers with the Campaign, or makes false representations or statements that violate applicable law or infringe third-party rights.

4.7 Participation in the Campaign is subject to Strava’s Terms of Service and its Community Standards found on https://www.strava.com/legal/terms and https://www.strava.com/community-standards.

5. Voucher Giveaway

5.1 Each participant who successfully completes the entry requirements (see section 4.3) will receive a 15% off voucher code to be redeemed on HUAWEI wearable and audio products from the HUAWEI UK Online Store (“Voucher”). This Voucher will be emailed to the participant after they signing up for the newsletter. This Voucher will be valid until 15th July 2025.

5.2 The Voucher is subject to the following terms and conditions: (i) the Voucher can only be redeemed on Huawei wearable and audio products purchased from the HUAWEI UK Online Store: https://consumer.huawei.com/uk/offer/; (ii) only one Voucher may be used per transaction and Vouchers cannot be used in conjunction with any other voucher offer; (iii) the Voucher cannot be used to pre-order products; (iv) the Voucher cannot be redeemed against the cost of delivery; (v) the Voucher cannot be used on an order already placed prior to receiving the Voucher; (vi) the Voucher has no cash redemption value and is not transferable or assignable; and (vii) all standard Huawei terms and conditions shall apply, see: https://consumer.huawei.com/uk/shop/sales-policy/.

6. Miscellaneous

6.1 The Organizer’s decisions regarding all promotional matters will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

6.2 In the event of circumstances outside the reasonable control of the Organizer, or otherwise where fraud, abuse, and/or an error (human or technical) affects or could affect the proper operation of this promotion , the Organizer reserves the right to cancel or amend these terms and conditions at any stage, but will endeavour to minimise the effect to participants in order to avoid undue disappointment.

6.3 If any provision of these terms and conditions is held invalid by any law, rule, order or regulation of any government, or by the final determination of any court of a competent jurisdiction, such invalidity shall not affect the enforceability of any other provisions not held to be invalid.

6.4 All legal relationships arising because or in connection with these terms and conditions and the Campaign are subject to English Law.

Privacy Notice for the Fit 4 More Miles Challenge (“Campaign”)

The data controller of personal data processed as described in this Notice is Huawei Technologies (UK) Co., Ltd., a company incorporated in England and Wales whose registered address is Earley East, Thames Valley Park Drive, Reading, England, RG6 1PT and whose registered number is 04295981 (hereinafter referred to as "Huawei", "we", "us", or "our").

How we use your data:

We use only the minimum amount of personal data that is necessary to operate the Campaign to:

- manage the newsletter subscription;
- issue the Campaign vouchers to the eligible participants.

To send you newsletters, your email address will be processed based on your consent. You have the right to unsubscribe at any time by clicking on the link included in each newsletter email. Further details can be found in our general privacy notice.

We use your personal data for the organisation and logistics of the Campaign in accordance with rules for participation, and in our legitimate interests for internal reporting purposes to keep track of our activities and for reference in regard to future projects.

Security and fraud control: we use the personal data you provided at entry to ensure compliance with the Campaign terms.

If you fail to provide certain information to us, you may be prevented from participating in the Campaign.

How we share and store your data:

- We use intragroup and third-party service providers to help run and fulfil the Campaign. Our service providers have been carefully selected and commissioned by us and are contractually bound. They will not process your personal data for any other purpose.

- Legal and regulatory disclosures: Huawei may share your data where there is a reasonable requirement to do so, for example, to meet requirements of applicable law and regulation, or in response to requests from regulators, courts or government agencies; or to establish or defend our legal rights.

- Your personal data will be stored in the UK and EEA (European Economic Area).

How long we retain your data:

- Your data processed for the organisation and logistics of the Campaign will be deleted within two months after the Campaign ends.

- The email address used to receive newsletters will be stored until you revoke your consent (unsubscribe the newsletter).

Your Rights and Choices:

To exercise your privacy rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection or portability in relation to your data, to contact our Data Protection Office (DPO), or if you have a privacy complaint or data protection query, please visit our Data Subject Right Portal: https://consumer.huawei.com/uk/legal/privacy-questions/.
