After you turn your HUAWEI device into a mobile Wi-Fi hotspot, the Wi-Fi on your smartphone or tablet is disabled. Do not worry, this is normal and it does not mean that there is an issue with your device.
When connected to a wireless network, your device is a receiver.
When you configure it as a mobile Wi-Fi hotspot, your smartphone or tablet becomes a transmitter.
A device cannot work both as a receiver and a transmitter at the same time, so, after activating the mobile hotspot, the Wi-Fi is automatically disabled.
