The photo quality decreases when one of the camera lenses is blocked

Most HUAWEI devices feature multi-lens camera systems, the various lenses and sensors working together when taking a picture or a video. The Camera app selects the proper lens combination based on your settings and the scene to be captured to give you the best photographic experience.

The primary camera lens produces clear images with great colour reproduction.

It also captures a preview image of the subject you are trying to photograph and displays it in the viewfinder.

If the primary camera lens is blocked, the preview image will not be available.

The secondary camera lenses are used for extra brightness and contrast information.

If the secondary lenses are blocked, the preview image will not be affected. However, the contrast information will be missing, resulting in a poor image quality.

When taking photos, make sure that none of the camera lenses are blocked or covered.
