Problem:
After the Auto-rotate feature is enabled, the screen still cannot be rotated.
Solution:
- Open the pre-installed Messaging app and rotate your phone to see if it rotates automatically. If it does, it indicates that your phone sensor is working properly.
- Open the app in question and ensure that the Auto-rotate feature (if there is one) has been enabled in the app settings.
- If the app supports the Auto-rotate feature, update the app to the latest version and try again.
- Some apps do not support the Auto-rotate feature.
The home screen of your phone does not support automatic screen rotation.
If the issue persists, back up your data and take your device and proof of purchase to an authorised Huawei Customer Service Centre for assistance.
