There is less available running memory on my HUAWEI phone after a system update |
Problem:
After a system update, the available running memory becomes less.
Cause:
- A major version update of the operating system will optimise or add certain features and functions. Therefore, the phone may occupy more running memory than before. This will not affect the use of your phone or performance experience.
- The updated system adds more apps and processes to the cache, so that the phone can start apps and read data from the cache to increase its running speed.
Solution:
- If you have added too many widgets to your home screen, it is recommended that you delete some widgets that are not frequently used and try again.
- If your phone's memory is low, some apps may abnormally occupy the memory. Please restart your phone and try again.
If the problem persists or you encounter any difficulties while doing this, please go to an authorised Huawei Customer Service Centre for assistance.
Thanks for your feedback.
