Block advertisement in Windows 10

To use Microsoft Edge to block advertisements:

1. Open Microsoft Edge and click the three-dot Settings icon in the top-right corner, and select Extensions.

2. Select Explore more extensions to display the Microsoft Store window.
   

   In some versions, click Get extensions from Microsoft Store.

3. Search AdBlock in the Microsoft Store and install any of the following extensions.

4. Using AdBlock as an example, click AdBlock, and then click Get and Install.
5. You will receive a notification once the installation is successful.

6. Go to the Extensions menu in Microsoft Edge again, and click Enable for AdBlock.

To use IE browser to block advertisements:

1. Enter Control Panel in the search box on the taskbar and press Enter.
2. Click Network and Internet.

3. Click Internet Options.

4. In the Internet Properties window, go to Privacy and check Turn on Pop-up Blocker, and then click Settings.

5. Add or remove websites and set Blocking levelas needed, and click Close.

6. In the Internet Properties window, click OK.
