Microsoft Store crashes, is unable or slow to download apps, apps downloaded from Microsoft Store are unable to be installed or used

Solution:

To resolve this, perform the following:
  • Check that your computer has a stable Internet connection Microsoft Store is a preinstalled app in the Windows system with a server that is not in China. In this case, certain apps cannot be installed or install slowly when connected to the Internet in China.
  • Log in again with your Microsoft account. To do this, open Microsoft Store, click the account icon in the top-right corner and click Sign out. Click the icon again and log in with your account.

  • Clear the Microsoft Store cache regularly The issue may be caused by the Microsoft Store cache reaching its maximum capacity. To clear the cache, enter wsreset in the search box on the taskbar and press Enter. Microsoft Store will be opened automatically after the cache is cleared.
  • Download the latest version of Microsoft Store from the official Microsoft website. This may also happen because you are not using the most recent version of Microsoft Store If so, go to the Microsoft official website to download the latest version.

  • You can also search for a solution on the official Microsoft website (https://answers.microsoft.com/en-gb/) or call the Microsoft customer service hotline at 400-820-3800.

  • If the issue still persists, back up your important data and press and hold F10 during startup to restore it to factory settings. Please note that this function is not available on Huawei or Honor computers released in United States (US).

Restoring your system to the factory settings will clear all your data in the C drive. Back up any important data before you proceed.
