The kids watch can only be linked using a SIM card when the following requirements are met:
1. The SIM card has passed real-name authentication.
2. The data and SMS services are enabled.
If the requirements are met but the issue persists, perform operations based on the following scenarios.
Unable to receive any verification codes on the kids watch when linking
Remove the SIM card from the watch and insert it into a phone to receive the verification code.
- If you can receive the verification code, enter the verification code and insert the SIM card into the watch again to finish linking.
- If you can't receive the verification code, there may be an issue with the SIM card service. In this case, contact your network provider to check whether the SIM card is an IoT card or whether the service is normal.
- If the SIM card is an IoT card, the SIM card can't receive SMS messages due to SMS service exceptions. In this case, it is recommended that you go to your network provider's customer service centre and apply for a new SIM card or change the existing SIM card to a normal SIM card.
- If there is just an issue with the service, contact your network provider, wait until the SMS and data services return to normal, and try again.
- If the service is normal, the issue may be caused by the network. In this case, it is recommended that you try again later or somewhere else.
An error message is displayed after I enter the verification code to register or log in to the watch's account
- Exit the linking process, wait 10 minutes, use a new verification code, and try again.
- If the message is displayed indicating that there have been too many incorrect verification code attempts and asks you to try again tomorrow, wait 24 hours and use a correct verification code to register or log in to the watch's account.
