Unable to download Gallery data on the Cloud PC client |
Problem:
Data in the Huawei Drive (Gallery) on the Cloud PC client is unable to be downloaded to the computer, and the message "Failed to write the local file" is displayed.
Troubleshooting:
Log in to the Cloud PC client, click in the upper right corner, and confirm the default file storage path. Check whether you have the read and write permissions for the corresponding path on the computer.
Solution:
- Log in to the Cloud PC client, click in the upper right corner, and change the default file cache path to another folder.
- Check whether the Authenticated Users permission is configured for the computer account. If the issue persists after Authenticated Users is set, right-click the drive where the file is stored on your computer, go to , select Authenticated Users, click Edit, tick Allow for the five permissions as shown in the following figure, and click OK to confirm the permissions to be granted.
If the issue persists, collect the following information and send it to the customer service personnel:
HUAWEI ID, PC client logs and problem ID, Screenshot of the fault/exception prompt page, and Last operation time.

in the upper right corner, describe the issue in detail, select Upload error logs, and submit the feedback.
