Huawei launches HUAWEI Care - Extended Warranty, which extends the warranty for 1 year/2 years based on the original warranty period, to help you save the maintenance cost. During the extended warranty period, all warranty services will be available for the covered product. It provides additional protection to your device and allow you use at ease without worries, and 100% original spare parts will be used for repair to ensure the quality. It needs to be clarified that HUAWEI Care - Extended Warranty is a service product, not an insurance product.

1.2 Validity Period of HUAWEI Care - Extended Warranty

Generally, the service period of the Extended Warranty will take effect from the day when the original product host warranty ends, and will naturally terminate on the expiration of the 12-month/24 month period.

4 About the Purchased HUAWEI Care - Extended Warranty

4.1 The Covered Product of HUAWEI Care - Extended Warranty

The activated coverage is only applicable for the device with the SN registered for the HUAWEI Care product purchase. As long as the SN is effective, the device will be eligible for services covered by the purchased HUAWEI Care - Extended Warranty.

4.2 HUAWEI Care - Extended Warranty Coverage Activation

• The coverage of HUAWEI Care-Extended Warranty will be activated automatically within 24 hours after purchase.
• The coverage of HUAWEI Care-Extended Warranty will terminate automatically in any of the following situations:
  • The registered device (subject to SN) is expired from the coverage validity period.
  • Accroding to the product detection, the registered product has been repaired or disassembled by unauthorized parties before.
  • It is proved that the product has been damaged on purpose for coverage service.

4.3 HUAWEI Care - Extended Warranty Coverage Transfer

• Since the purchased HUAWEI Care - Extended Warranty is only applicable for the registered device (subject to the device SN), it cannot be transferred unless the registered device has been replaced. Transfer is not supported in other scenarios.
• Validity period after coverage transfer

  Within 30 days of purchase, if the registered device has been replaced due to performance faults, the coverage can be transferred to the replacement device, the 12-month/24-month validity period will be continue counted same as old device.

4.4 HUAWEI Care - Extended Warranty Coverage Cancellation and Refund

• If your produt is returned due to performance faults within 14 days after purchase, the extended warranty service can be refund together with the registered product.
• You also can refund the HUAWEI Care -Extended Warranty separately by contacting the HUAWEI hotline agents for help..
