Alarms on your HUAWEI watch/band

You can set alarms using either your wearable device or the Huawei Health app on your phone.

Setting an alarm using your wearable device

  1. Enter the app list, select Alarm, and touch + to add an alarm.
  2. Set the alarm time and repeat cycle, and then touch OK. If no repeat cycle is set, the alarm will go off only once.
  3. Touch an existing alarm to modify the alarm time and repeat cycle, or to delete the alarm.

Setting an alarm using Huawei Health

  1. Open Huawei Health, navigate to the device details screen, and touch Alarm.
  2. Touch Add and set the alarm time, alarm name, and repeat cycle.
  3. If you're using Android or EMUI, touch in the upper right corner. If you're using iOS, touch Save.
  4. Return to the Huawei Health home screen and swipe down on it to sync the latest alarm settings to your wearable device.
  5. Touch an existing alarm to modify the alarm time, name, and repeat cycle. You can also delete the alarm.
  6. When all the settings are done, the alarms set in Huawei Health will automatically sync to your wearable.

  • For wearable devices that support wrist-based input methods, such as the HUAWEI WATCH GT 5 Series, you can change an alarm name on the wearable. This name will display on the device screen when the alarm goes off.
  • When your wearable is connected to a HUAWEI phone running EMUI 8.1 or later, you'll be notified via your wearable as well when a phone alarm goes off. You can then stop or snooze the alarm on either your wearable or phone. (You won't be able to view phone alarms, i.e. those added using the Clock phone app, on your wearable.)
  • When an alarm vibrates, you can touch , swipe right on the wearable screen, or press the side button, to snooze the alarm (for 10 minutes). Touching will stop the alarm. An alarm will automatically snooze itself if no operations are performed within one minute, and will come to a complete stop after three auto snoozes.
  • Alarms won't go off on your wearable device if it's powered off.

Setting the alarm volume

HUAWEI bands and certain watch models (such as the HUAWEI WATCH 3 Series) will only vibrate for an alarm. Certain watch models (such as the HUAWEI WATCH GT 3 Series and HUAWEI WATCH GT 4 Series) will vibrant and ring for an alarm, and you can go to Settings > Sounds & vibration > Ringtone to adjust the alarm volume. If ringtone is enabled but your wearable doesn't ring for alarms, it means ring notifications for alarms are unavailable on your device.

HUAWEI WATCH GT 5 Series: Enter the device app list and go to Settings > Sounds & vibration > Alarm volume for custom adjustments.
