HUAWEI experience store (“HES”) Discover HUAWEI P60 Pro & HUAWEI Mate X3 Activity
PROMOTION TERMS AND CONDITIONS
15th May 2023 to 31st May 2023
1. Introduction
1.1 HUAWEI experience store (“HES”) Discover HUAWEI P60 Pro & HUAWEI Mate X3 Activity (“Promotion”) is organised and managed by Huawei Technologies Africa (Pty) Ltd (“Huawei”), including affiliates and subsidiaries (collectively referred to as the “Organisers”).
1.2 The Promotion is open for entry by all South African residents of 18 years and older with a valid South African identity document or Smart Card.
1.3 By entering the Promotion, all Participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, which will be interpreted by the Organisers and the Organisers decision regarding any issue will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
1.4 This Promotion will run from 15th May 2023 09h00 to 31st May 2023 19h00, (both dates inclusive) (the “Promotion Period”).
1.5 The Promotion deals exclusively with the assigned Huawei Authorized Experience Stores(the “HES”) within the Republic of South Africa.

1.6 The Organisers will be running a Promotion whereby Promotion Participants who participate in any Discover HUAWEI P60 Pro & HUAWEI Mate X3 Activity during the Promotions Period will receive the below Promotion Gift (“Promotion Gift”):
- a) Notebook-Orange valued at approximately R19.00 each (nineteen rand); or
- b) Bluetooth Headset valued at approximately R 95.00 (ninety five rand) each; or
- c) Circular Kickstart-Red valued at approximately R 19.00 (nineteen rand) each; or
- d) Body Fat Scale valued at approximately R209 (two hundred and nine rand) each.
Promotion Gifts are subject to stock availability during the Promotion Period.
1.7 The Promotion is limited to the first 200 Promotion Participants that comply with the requirements set out below at clause 2.
2. Claiming the Promotion
2.1 To successfully register for the Promotion and benefit from the Promotion Gift, Promotion Participants must –
2.1.1 Insert details
- a) Register on the Huawei official website and fill in the basic information;
- b) Visit the assigned HES and participate in any Discover HUAWEI P60 Pro & HUAWEI Mate X3 Event activity;
- c) Complete the session survey provided by the relevant HES; and
- d) Reside in the Republic of South Africa.
2.2 All personal information of the Promotion Participants will be strictly made use of to provide the Promotions Gift and will be stored in a secure repository and not transferred to any third party save for the purposes of delivery of the Promotional Gift. 3. Terms and Conditions Related to the Promotions Gift
3.1 Promotion Participants may only receive 1 (one) Promotion Gift per Discover HUAWEI P60 Pro & HUAWEI Mate X3 event activity.
3.2 Promotion Gift redemption process:
3.2.1 The Promotion Gift will be given to the Promotion Participants in person during the Promotion Period in the assigned HES once the Discover HUAWEI P60 Pro & HUAWEI Mate X3 activity is completed.
4. General Terms and Conditions
4.1 The Promotion is valid for the Promotion Period only and is limited to the first 200 Promotion Participants that comply with the requirements set out below at clause 2.
4.2 Claim for the Promotion Gift must be completed before 31st May 2023
4.3 The Promotion Period may be extended or reduced at the discretion of the Organisers.
4.4 The Promotion, the Promotions Gift, and any terms and/or conditions surrounding it may be amended by reasonable notification at any time and will be applied and interpreted in the sole discretion of the Organisers. Such altered terms and conditions shall become effective immediately after being altered or on such date as may be determined by the Organisers. No Promotion Participants shall have any recourse against the Organisers as a result of any alterations of the terms and conditions.
4.5 The Organisers reserve the right to extend, reasonably shorten or suspend the time period of the Promotion for technical or commercial or operational reasons or for the greater public good or due to a “force majeure” event or generally for any reason whatsoever within their sole discretion, on condition that the Organisers notify the Promotion Participants in a manner that is expedient according to its best ability.
4.6 The Promotion, the Promotion Gift, and any terms and/or conditions surrounding it may be amended by reasonable notification at any time during the Promotion, and will be applied and interpreted in the sole discretion of the Organisers. Such altered terms and conditions shall become effective immediately after being altered or on such date as may be determined by the Organisers. No Promotion Participants shall have any recourse against the Organisers as a result of any alterations of the Terms and Conditions.
4.7 The Organisers reserve the right to amend the rules and/or terminate this Promotion immediately at any stage, whether required as a result of changes in legislation, or if required by any national, provincial or municipal authority, or within the sole discretion of the Organisers for any reason (recognized in law). Notice of such termination shall be published on the Organisers Promotions Website. In such event, all Participants waive any rights that they may have/purport to have in terms of this Promotion and acknowledge that they will have no recourse against the Organisers whatsoever.
4.8 In the event of a dispute in regard to any aspect of the Promotion and/or the Terms and Conditions, the Organiser’s decision will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
4.9 All Promotion Participants indemnify the Organisers, their associated and subsidiary companies, and their directors, officers and employees, against any and all claims for any loss or damages, whether direct, indirect, consequential or otherwise, arising from any cause whatsoever from the Promotion Participants participation in any way whatsoever in this Promotion.
4.10 South African law shall govern these Promotion rules and the courts of South Africa shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
