Contacts are missing from my HUAWEI phone/tablet

Detailed troubleshooting solutions

1. Enable All contacts

Go to Contacts > / > Settings > Display preferences, and enable All contacts.

If All contacts is disabled, contacts may not be found.

2. Log in to your HUAWEI ID again

Contacts may be lost because Delete from this device was selected when you exited HUAWEI ID. Log in to your HUAWEI ID again, go to Settings > Account center > Cloud, and enable Contacts. The data on the cloud will be automatically restored to this device.

3. Restore deleted contacts

For details, please refer to How to restore deleted contacts on my phone.

4. Switch user accounts

Switch to the PrivateSpace or the space of another user from the MainSpace to view contacts.

  • To access PrivateSpace, go to Settings > Privacy > PrivateSpace, and tap Log in.

  • To access the space of another user, go to Settings > Users & accounts, tap the current login user, and tap that user's name.

5. If the issue persists

  • If you have backed up contacts before, it is recommended that you restore the contacts that have been backed up.
  • If not, save the contacts again and enable Contacts synchronization by going to Settings > Account center > Cloud to back up the contacts.

If the issue remains unresolved or you encounter any difficulties, please call the Huawei customer service hotline for assistance.
