Make in-store payments with Huawei Pay

First, make sure NFC is enabled on your phone. To enable NFC, go to Settings > More connections > NFC. Alternatively, swipe down from the top of the screen to display the notification panel. Touch to display all shortcuts and turn on NFC.

  1. When the screen is locked, use your fingerprint for HUAWEI Wallet quick pay to access the payment screen. You don't need to unlock the screen or access the Internet for this.
  2. Use your fingerprint, face ID, or Payment PIN.
  3. If you don't want to use the default bank card for the payment, touch it and then select another card.
  4. Tap the NFC zone (near the rear cameras) on the back of your phone against the payment terminal or card reader.

  5. Enter your bank PIN on the payment terminal or sign on the printed ticket if you are asked to.

  • The only time when a network connection is not required is when you authenticate the payment with your fingerprint or face. It is recommended that you use fingerprint or face recognition as the payment authentication method.
  • Password-free transactions are only possible when allowed by both your bank card and the payment terminal or card reader and when the transaction amount is within the transaction limit. The amount limit for password-free transactions with Huawei Pay is determined by your bank.
