Connecting a HUAWEI kids watch to Wi-Fi

- If the watch doesn't have a SIM card, it won't be connected to the Internet, and you can only set up Wi-Fi on the watch.
- The kids watch only supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi hotspots and phone hotspots. It does not support 5 GHz or certain Wi-Fi (airport, hotel, etc.) hotspots.
- When connecting the watch to an iPhone's personal hotspot, be sure to turn on Maximize Compatibility and switch to 2.4 GHz.
- For remote Wi-Fi configuration, make sure the watch is within the target network coverage and manually enter the Wi-Fi name.
Configuring Wi-Fi on the watch
- From the watch home screen, press the HOME button, go to , and toggle on WLAN.
- Select a target Wi-Fi, enter the password, and tap Connect.
- When "Connected" appears, it indicates your watch has established a successful online connection.
Configuring Wi-Fi via the HUAWEI FamCare app
- Open the app, tap Devices, and go to .
- Select a target Wi-Fi, enter the password, and tap OK.
You can also tap Add network, enter the Wi-Fi name and password, and tap OK.
- The WLAN feature can't be disabled in HUAWEI FamCare.
- Available networks will display on Android phones. (When connecting the watch to an admin phone's personal hotspot, names of available networks will not display since Wi-Fi is disabled on the phone. Instead, you'll need to manually enter the hotspot name.)
- Available networks will not display on iPhones. You'll need to manually enter the Wi-Fi network name.
Deleting Wi-Fi
On the watch: Go to , select the connected network, and tap Remove.
In the HUAWEI FamCare app: Navigate to the Watch WLAN screen, hold down on the connected network, and tap Delete.
