Fingerprint Power button

After adding a fingerprint, you can use the fingerprint sensor to start your laptop and unlock the screen at the same time, which is quick and secure.

•       Press the power button to log in to your laptop when it is shut down or in Sleep mode.

•       Tap the power button to unlock your laptop when the screen is on.

Recessed camera

You can use the camera to take photos, record videos, or hold video conferences.

Camera indicator

Indicates the camera status. The indicator stays constant when the camera is on.

Huawei Share icon

To transfer images, documents, and videos between your Huawei or Honor phone and your laptop, simply tap the NFC detection area on the back of your phone against the Huawei Share icon.

•       Do not tear up or damage the Huawei Share icon. Otherwise, the Huawei Share OneHop function cannot be used properly.

•       The icon position shown in the figure is for reference only.

Equivalent to a right mouse click.

Charge indicator

When the laptop is connected to the power adapter:

•       The indicator blinks white when the laptop is being charged.

•       The indicator is steady white when the laptop is fully charged.

•       Connects to the power adapter to charge the laptop.

•       Connects to external devices such as a phone or a USB flash drive to transfer data.

Note: This port is available only on the HUAWEI MateBook D 15.

Camera drainage hole

The camera button on the keyboard is connected to the drainage hole on the rear cover. If any liquid enters the keyboard from the button, it easily exits through the drainage hole. However, the liquid may still damage your laptop.
