Setting and using the ScreenHop feature

After connecting a HUAWEI wireless mouse (WYN) to multiple devices (tablets/computers), you'll be able to move the cursor seamlessly from screen to screen, without having to press the switch key. If you connect a HUAWEI Ultrathin Keyboard to these devices at the same time, the keyboard will also follow the mouse in switching between the different devices, making cross-device office work remarkably easy.

A mouse and a keyboard can be connected to up to three devices (tablets/computers) at a time.

Procedure:

  1. Power on the devices to be connected and update the corresponding apps to their latest versions, based on the device type.

    Device

    App

    Version Requirement

    Tablets

    HUAWEI AI Life app

    • Bluetooth 5.0 or later
    • HarmonyOS 3.0 or later

HarmonyOS 3.0 trial version only provides some of the HarmonyOS modules and does not support the ScreenHop feature. Please use the official version of HarmonyOS 3.0 instead.

    • AI Life app 13.0.1.315 or later

HUAWEI Windows computers that support pop-up pairing

    Huawei PC Manager

    Other computers:

    • Windows computers (HUAWEI computers that do not support pop-up pairing/non-HUAWEI computers)
    • macOS computers

    ScreenHop app

    • Bluetooth 5.0 or later
    • Windows 10 or later, macOS 10.15 or later
    • Visit the HUAWEI Support official website, click the drop-down arrow to switch to HUAWEI Wireless Mouse (WYN), and download and install the latest version of ScreenHop in the Software Download section.

If the Bluetooth version of the device is too early, you may encounter issues such as a drifting cursor, slow response, or repeated typing.

  2. Connect the mouse and keyboard to one of the devices as follows. Then, check and update their software versions.
    • Mouse: software version 1.0.7.0 or later, and wireless 2.4 GHz receiver software version 1.0.1.9 or later
    • Keyboard: software version X.0.0.158 or later
