1. Introduction
1.1 HUAWEI Mate 80 Pro| HUAWEI Care+ (12 Months) (“Promotion”) is organized and managed by HUAWEI Technologies Africa (Pty) Ltd (“HUAWEI”), including affiliates and subsidiaries (collectively referred to as the “Organizer”).
1.2 This Promotion is comprised of 3 (three) services:
• Accidental Damage Protection
• Battery Replacement; and
• Free Lifetime Software Support.
1.3 The Promotion is open for entry by all South African residents of 18 years and older with a valid South African identity document or Smart Card.
1.4 By entering the Promotion, all Participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, which will be interpreted by the Organizers and the Organizers decision regarding any issue will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered.
1.5 This Promotion commences on 7th April 2026 and is ongoing (the “Promotion Period”).
1.6 The Promotion deals exclusively with purchases made at HUAWEI Authorized Service Centers, HUAWEI Experience Stores & Online stores within the Republic of South Africa.
1.7 Only Promotion devices being the HUAWEI Mate 80 Pro will qualify for this Promotion (“qualifying device”).
1.8 This Promotion enables Participants to claim for 1 (one) replacement repair during 12 (twelve) months from the date of purchase of the qualifying device.
1.9 This Promotion is automatically activated from the date of purchase of any qualifying HUAWEI Devices. No sign up is required.
1.10 Upon redeeming the Promotion at HUAWEI Authorized Service Centre Tygervalley, Cornubia, Menlyn, Sandton City and SSS Cellular. Participants will be required to pay a service fee of R 499 (Four hundred and ninety-nine) (including Vat) for service charges.
1.11 In the event of a Participant wanting to upgrade to the HUAWEI Care+ (2 Years); the Participant is required to make the purchase within 14 (fourteen) days from the date of purchase of the qualifying device. The purchase must be made before this Promotion is claimed.
1.12 The Promotion will not affect the standard warranty of a device.
2. Promotion Details
2.1 Accidental Damage Protection.
2.1.1 HUAWEI Care+ (12 Months) Complimentary.
2.1.2 Accidental Damage Protections provides extra protection for replacement of the original HUAWEI Mate 80 Pro, spare parts damage caused by physical damage, water and/or liquid damage.
2.1.3 Theft and loss are excluded;
2.1.4 This Promotion enables Participants to claim for 1 (one) replacement repair during 12 (twelve) months from date of purchase of the qualifying device.
2.2 Battery Replacement
2.2.1 Battery Replacement Service for 3 (three) years is available when the battery capacity falls below 80%.
2.2.2 Free Battery Replacement Service is limited to single redemption per device.
2.3 Lifetime software support
2.3.1 Covers all software related issues such as App downloads, software bugs and updates, only applicable to HUAWEI Mate 80 Pro.
3. General Terms and Conditions
3.1 The Promotion commences in 7th April 2026 and is ongoing.
3.2 The Promotion Period may be extended or reduced at the discretion of the Organizer.
3.3 The Promotion, and any terms and/or conditions surrounding it may be amended by reasonable notification at any time and will be applied and interpreted in the sole discretion of the Organizer. Such altered terms and conditions shall become effective immediately after being altered or on such date as may be determined by the Organizer. No Promotion Participants shall have any recourse against the Organizer as a result of any alterations of the terms and conditions.
3.4 The Organizer reserves the right to extend, reasonably shorten or suspend the time period of the Promotion for technical or commercial or operational reasons or for the greater public good or due to a “force majeure” event or generally for any reason whatsoever within their sole discretion, on condition that the Organizer notify the Promotion Participants in a manner that is expedient according to its best ability.
3.5 The Promotion, any terms and/or conditions surrounding it may be amended by reasonable notification at any time during the Promotion, and will be applied and interpreted in the sole discretion of the Organizer. Such altered terms and conditions shall become effective immediately after being altered or on such date as may be determined by the Organizer. No Promotion Participants shall have any recourse against the Organizer as a result of any alterations of the Terms and Conditions.
3.6 The Organizer reserves the right to amend the rules and/or terminate this Promotion immediately at any stage, whether required as a result of changes in legislation, or if required by any national, provincial or municipal authority, or within the sole discretion of the Organizer for any reason (recognized in law). Notice of such termination shall be published on the Organizer’s Promotions Website. In such event, all Participants waive any rights that they may have/purport to have in terms of this Promotion and acknowledge that they will have no recourse against the Organizer whatsoever.
3.7 In the event of a dispute in regard to any aspect of the Promotion and/or the Terms and Conditions, the Organizer’s decision will be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
3.8 All Promotion Participants indemnify the Organizer, their associated and subsidiary companies, and their directors, officers and employees, against any and all claims, any losses and/or damages, whether direct, indirect, consequential or otherwise, arising from any cause whatsoever from the Promotion Participants participation in any way whatsoever in this Promotion.

3.10 South African law shall govern these Promotion rules and the courts of South Africa shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
