Postal Repair

  • 1. Preparation before postal repair

    1. The entire repair service is expected to take 5-10 days (including logistic time and service center repair time, excluding: quotation time). In the event of holidays or force majeure (such as typhoons, earthquakes), the service time will be extended accordingly.
    2. Before applying for service, please review the warranty policy and warranty period. If your device is out of warranty after inspection, you will need to pay for the repairs. Please refer to the spare part price on the official website. Kindly note, the estimated prices are for reference only, and the final price will be provided by the service center.
    3. To keep your personal data and device safe, please follow these steps completely before sending your device:
    * Smartphones/Tablets: Back up data → Disable the search functionLog out of your account → Enable Maintenance Mode (My HUAWEI App > Support > Quick Services > More > Maintenance Mode) → Power off → Remove accessories (e.g., SIM/SD card, protective case, etc.).
    * Laptops/Desktops: Back up dataClear data → Power off → Remove accessories (e.g., Bluetooth receivers, cables, etc.).
    * Monitors: Remove accessories (e.g., cables, etc.)
    * Watches/Bands: Delete password → Power off → Remove SIM card (if applicable).
    * Earphones: Place both earphones in the charging case and send them together for repair.
    * Routers/Mobile Wi-Fi Devices: Remove accessories (e.g., power cable, internet cable, etc.) → Remove SIM card from mobile Wi-Fi device.
    4. Please keep the accessories after removal, and record the device's SN number for repair status checking (How to find the SN?).

  • 2. Service application

    5. Please check postal repair, enter the device's SN number, fault symptom, and contact information (your phone number and address), then submit the application. To avoid any potential delay in your repair service, please ensure all information is accurate.
    6. Both shipment costs for your device will be covered by HUAWEI.

  • 3. Packaging and transportation

    7. Kindly prepare the packaging materials such as air bubble film and a box for sending the device. We recommend using the original packaging box; if it's unavailable, please use air bubble film in your box to prevent the device from shaking during shipment. After we confirm your postal repair request, a logistics waybill will be generated with the Consignment Number. Please print and affix the Consignment Number on the box. If you don't have access to a printer, please handwrite the following information on an A4 paper and affix it to the packaging box:
    * Current address
    * Mailing address
    * Consignment Number
    Please refer to the packaging guidance for more details. Additionally, please include proof of purchase with the device.

  • 4. Detection and repair

    8. The package will arrive at the service center in 2 working days. You will receive an SMS notification once it is signed for. The estimated detection and repair time is around 3 working days.
    9. During the service process, you can check the repair progress by entering your phone number or device SN. If you cannot find any results, please contact our online chat service or call the hotline at 1800220086 for assistance.
    10. For in-warranty repairs, the device repair is free of charge. For out-of-warranty repairs, HUAWEI will provide a repair fee, which includes the labor fee (detection/repair), spare part price, logistics fee, and VAT.
    11. We will call you to confirm the repair fee. Please complete the payment within 3 days after agreement; if payment is not made on time, the service time will be extended accordingly.

    5. Return

    12. We will send your device back via Gdex logistics after the repair is completed. The estimated time of arrival is around 2 working days.
    13. You will receive an SMS or email notification once the device is shipped. You can check the status information by clicking on the following link: https://gdexpress.com/tracking. If you do not receive the device within 5 days after receiving the SMS, please contact our online chat service or call the hotline at 1800220086 for assistance.
    14. Please check that the packaging box is intact before signing for the package. If there is any damage to the box, please double-check the device. If there is any damage to the device, please contact our online chat service or call the hotline at 1800220086 for help.
