1. Enroll your fingerprint ID.

Go to Settings > Biometrics & password > Fingerprint ID, enter the lock screen password, then touch New fingerprint. A maximum of 10 fingerprints can be added.

2. Set the fingerprint as the payment authentication method.

Go to Settings > Account center > Payment and purchases > Settings > Payment verification method > Fingerprint.

3. Use fingerprint payment for in-app purchases.

To make an in-app purchase, select the fingerprint payment method and verify your fingerprint to authenticate the payment.

If the fingerprint payment fails, touch Payment password in the lower right corner of the screen and enter your payment password to complete the purchase. You will still be prompted to use your fingerprint to authenticate the payment next time you make an in-app purchase.
