The HUAWEI 5G Mobile WiFi series does not support manual selection of 5 GHz Wi-Fi channels.
Some 5 GHz Wi-Fi channels overlap with military radar channels. According to the Wi-Fi protocol, if radar signals are detected, the system needs to switch to another channel. If a channel detects radar signals, the channel cannot be configured within 30 minutes. Therefore, after a fixed channel is configured, automatic switching may occur and the configuration may even fail. To avoid unnecessary confusion, Huawei 5 GHz products do not provide the function of configuring fixed channels.
