My HUAWEI Eyewear series device is slow or unresponsive even when double-tapped

If you are unable to wake up the voice assistant by double-tapping your eyewear, perform the following troubleshooting steps:

Make sure the voice assistant app is installed: If the voice assistant app is not installed on your phone, you will not be able to wake up the voice assistant, even when the eyewear is connected to your phone. Check whether a voice assistant app is available on your phone. If not, install one and see if the issue is resolved.
  2. Set double-tapping to call the voice assistant: Make sure that you configure a double-tap operation to call the voice assistant in Bluetooth settings or the AI Life app.
  3. Uninstall similar apps: If you have installed other apps that have the voice assistant feature on your phone, you cannot wake up the voice assistant you want even when your eyewear is connected to your phone. In this case, uninstall such apps and see if the issue is resolved.

There are multiple reasons why the eyewear is slow or unresponsive even when double-tapped, please perform the following troubleshooting steps:

  1. Make sure that the Bluetooth connection is normal:
    1. Make sure that you wear the eyewear in the correct manner, without wearing it on the top of your head.
