Connecting my HUAWEI computer to a monitor/Vision device to use Multi-screen Collaboration

After a collaborative connection is established between your monitor/Vision device and computer, you can set the monitor/Vision device to Mirror or Extend mode. In this way, your work needs are met with more content displayed on two screens.

Only certain HUAWEI monitors/Vision devices and computers support this feature. You can visit the Huawei Consumer Business Website to check the supported models.

Prerequisites:
  • Monitor: The device is powered on and is not connected to any other devices, either wirelessly or by cable.
  • Vision: The device is powered on, Bluetooth is enabled, the screen is unlocked and on, and the device is not connected to other devices, either wirelessly or by cable.
  • Computer: The device is powered on and not connected to other devices in wired mode, Bluetooth is enabled, and the Bluetooth driver and Windows system are up to date.

  1. Open Huawei PC Manager on the computer, go to My devices > External display > CONNECT, and select the monitor/Vision device from the list of devices to be connected.
  2. When connecting for the first time, enter the PIN displayed on the monitor/Vision device in the dialog box on the computer, and follow the onscreen instructions to complete the connection.

Using the Mirror/Extended feature for the monitor/Vision device

  1. Open Huawei PC Manager, go to My devices > External display, and select a collaboration mode.
    • Select Mirror to have the monitor/Vision device display the same content as the computer desktop.

      The computer desktop will sync to the monitor/Vision device, so that you can make comments on the computer and share them on the large screen in real time, for easier communication.

    • Select Extend to have the monitor/Vision device serve as a secondary screen for the computer.

      By extending the computer desktop to the monitor/HUAWEI Vision, you'll be able to share on one screen while working on the other, for greater working efficiency.

    You can use a keyboard and mouse connected to either devices to control both devices, when they are connected through either of the above modes.

  2. To adjust the screen layout, resolution, and audio input and output devices for the monitor/Vision device, click Settings and follow the onscreen instructions.
