1. Important Information on Consumer Law

1.1 The Service is separate and in addition to the legal rights of consumers under the laws governing the sale of consumer goods, and, therefore, does not affect, change or replace such rights.

2. Service Description

2.1 Subject to these Terms and Conditions, participants who purchase a HUAWEI P50 Pocket or P50 Pro (‘Qualifying Product’) via the HUAWEI UK Online Store (https://consumer.huawei.com/uk/) will be eligible to receive a one-time free screen and/or back cover repair or replacement in the event of accidental external damage to the Qualifying Product (‘Service’).

2.2 The Service is valid for 6 months from the data of delivery of the Qualifying Product (‘Service Period’).

2.3 Only one free Service shall be permitted per Qualifying Product.

2.4 The Service may only be redeemed via HUAWEI Authorised Service Centres in the UK (‘Service Centre’) as provided in the information available at: https://consumer.huawei.com/uk/support/express-repair/.

2.5 The Service is subject to availability at designated Service Centres in the United Kingdom, during designated service hours, subject to available capacities and the conclusion of a respective service contract at the Service Centre.

2.6 The Qualifying Products are subject to availability while stocks last.

2.7 The Service is not transferrable or exchangeable and applies to the original purchaser only.

3. Service Limitations

3.1 During the Service Period, in the event of the Qualifying Product’s screen and/or back cover receiving accidental external damage, such as cracking or breaking, HUAWEI will repair or replace at its discretion the damaged screen and/or back cover free of charge. Repair or replacement may involve the use of a functionally equivalent reconditioned unit.

3.2 The Service is limited to the repair or replacement of the damaged screen and/or back cover and does not include the repair or replacement of any other parts of the Qualifying Product. For example, the Service does not cover the repair or replacement of the mainboard, speakers, shells and accessories.

3.3 If a Qualifying Product or any part thereof is deemed unrepairable or if parts are no longer available HUAWEI may on its sole discretion replace the Qualifying Product with another product of equal or greater value.

3.4 All replaced defective products, parts, boards or equipment shall become the property of HUAWEI.

4. Service Exclusions

4.1 The Service does not cover:

c) service or repair (including upgrades) performed by anyone who is not HUAWEI or a Service Centre;
