Participants agree to these terms and conditions (the 'Terms and Conditions'). Any information or instructions published by HUAWEI Technologies (UK) Co., Ltd. ('HUAWEI'), with its registered offices at Earley East, Thames Valley Park Drive, Reading, England, RG6 1PT about the HUAWEI Loss Care For Audio Products (‘Service’) at https://consumer.huawei.com/uk/support/huawei-loss-care-for-freebuds/ (‘Website’) form part of the Terms and Conditions. Participants are advised to save or print these Terms and Conditions for future reference.
Please note the Service is separate and in addition to the legal rights of consumers under the laws governing the sale of consumer goods, and, therefore, does not affect, change or replace such rights.

2. Service Description:
The Service provides a 50% discount on a single earbud replacement where such replacement would normally be chargeable and not covered by HUAWEI’s Limited Warranty (see: https://consumer.huawei.com/uk/support/warranty-policy/). The earbud replacement is carried out by HUAWEI’s Authorised Service Centre in the UK. The actual price of a single earbud replacement is subject to change and will be confirmed at the time of ordering your replacement. Eligibility: To be eligible for the Service, you must be aged 18 or over. Businesses are excluded and claims must not be submitted through agents, retailers, resellers, third parties or in bulk. The replacement earbud is only available for delivery to addresses in the UK.
Participating Devices: The Service is only available for participating HUAWEI audio products sold in the UK with HUAWEI Loss Care and is subject to spare parts availability. The Service is automatically activated upon purchase, no further activation action is required.
Validity Period: The Service is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. The Service cannot be claimed after the expiry date and validity cannot be extended.
3. Service Features:
The replacement earbud provided is protected by HUAWEI’s Consumer Warranty. Please refer to https://consumer.huawei.com/uk/support/warranty-policy/ for further details.
The replacement of one earbud may involve the use of a functionally equivalent reconditioned unit. It is possible for the replacement to have better performance than the other earbud, this is attributable to normal wear and tear.
4. Limitations
The Service does not cover the replacement of other items beyond the single earbud (such as charging case).
The Service can only be used once per device during the validity period. This Service cannot be used in conjunction with any other HUAWEI promotion.
The Service does not cover a device which has been disassembled, repaired, altered or modified somewhere other than a HUAWEI Authorised Service Centre.
5. Replacement Process:
Hotline: contact HUAWEI’s service hotline on 0800 088 6700, and our customer service agents will help verify your eligibility for the Service, you may be required to provide a copy of your proof of purchase. You will then be guided on purchasing the single earbud replacement.
Postal repair: Once purchased, the replacement earbud will be fulfilled by HUAWEI’s Authorised Service Centre via our postal repair service. Terms and conditions apply.
6. Termination:
The Service will terminate after you receive an earbud replacement or when the Validity Period expires, whichever event occurs earlier.
7. Miscellaneous:
1) The Service is subject to availability, while stocks last. HUAWEI reserves the right to replace the Service with an alternative promotional offer of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond our control make it necessary to do so.
2) HUAWEI reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Service and to disqualify claims which it considers do not comply with these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice at its own discretion. HUAWEI’s decisions regarding all promotional matters will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
3) HUAWEI shall have the right, where necessary, to undertake all such action as is reasonable to protect itself against fraudulent or invalid claims including, without limitation, to generate or require further verification as to proof of purchase, as well as the identity, age, and other relevant details, refuse the Service, or terminate the Service due to excessive fraud. This process may involve HUAWEI sharing information with third parties.
4) HUAWEI excludes liability, to the fullest extent permitted by law, for any loss or damage caused arising out of or in connection with the Service. Without prejudice to the preceding restriction, and to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event will HUAWEI’s liability to you exceed £50.00.
5) You may not but we may assign, change or otherwise dispose of rights under these terms and conditions. Any attempt by you to do so shall be void.
6) If any provision of these terms and conditions is held invalid by any law, rule, order or regulation of any government, or by the final determination of any court of a competent jurisdiction, such invalidity shall not affect the enforceability of any other provisions not held to be invalid.
7) These terms & conditions shall be governed and construed in accordance with English Law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
